When I started looking for an XLR adapter that was a bit cheaper than this one, the build quality started looking questionable on many of the cords I saw on Amazon. So I settled on this one, bottom of the price range with a good build quality and feel to it. I needed this to provide line outs from my Audio Sciences BOB outs to my Mackie board line inputs. Works like a charm.
