I had a similar pump for my camplux shower. I made my setup with brass quick disconnects and such. I went to test everything before hunting season and wouldn't you know it, the pump ran for maybe 3 seconds before seizing. I ordered this VERY last minute. I wasn't keen on going back to the plastic fittings, but what could I do? I have a Camp Lux shower head and it was less than impressive, Well, I guess it was the pump I was using because the Pressure is amazing. This thing pumps up to pressure and then shuts off. Then, when you open the shower head valve, You're absolutely blasted with VERY acceptable water pressure, better than most hotels by a large margin. The battery clamp lead is a bit too short for my liking, however, the folks at camplux saw with to give a LONG 12v adapter, which, is what I ended up using after the 1st shower. I have only 2 problems with this setup. The first, the plastic fittings, I don't trust them to last too long. Don't get me wrong, they held up in the cold weather, but there was a constant worry that they may break if one forgot to drain them or pulled on them ever so slightly. The Second, The hoses get quite stiff when the temperature is low, which, may cause the fittings to have more stress on them when the hoses are manipulated. Other than that, I recommend.

Picked this up to use with my Camplux water heater. It worked great. The connections are very easy to use and the pump is kind of quite. With the water heater it cuts off when not in use and picks right back up when water is moving. Has a 12v plug which works great with any power station.

Works well but leaks a little in the quick connect section.

We bought this as am alternative way to shower while we build our home and feel in love with it. We put a different shower head on it but the system is very easy to use. We have been using it as our full time shower for a year now and have only gone through 1.5 25 lb bottles. It uses very little propane and the water gets very hot. It's quiet and produces more than enough water pressure.
