Essential oils are therapeutic remedies and sometimes can have contraindications so before using any essential oils always check on a reputable website that they are safe for you to use. This particular oil fits into the 'uplifting" category. That is it is intended to make you feel good, is a stimulant and helps with alertness. As well as being a useful insect repellent, this is an effective remedy for fungal skin infections (pleasanter than Tea Tree, and works well with it), and is also one of the best oils for muscle pain (use in oil) Essential oils are very powerful and you don't need much for treatment. For example you just need to place one dessert spoon of carrier oil into a saucer and then maybe add between 4 to 7 drops of essential oil. For anyone that's in doubt, a 'drop' is defined as the size of a teardrop, or a match head. The carrier oil you use doesn't need to be expensive as you could use plain vegetable oil (sunflower, or rapeseed). If you will be using essential oils on your face you may prefer to use almond oil as it absorbs into the skin better. Never mix up large batches of essential oils. These should always be made fresh to preserve the integrity and therapeutic properties, and make only enough to use for that particular treatment Essential oils can be used in a carrier oil, in water (in a spray bottle), or can be used in your bath (5 to7 drops), or in a candle diffuser or in one of these electronic diffusers. This particular oil smells lovely. It comes from the 'eucalyptus' range but is softer in scent. It's a lovely uplifting smell and really good in a room diffuser. You can also put this into a candle diffuser in a little bit of water and place this outside to repel midges and mosquitoes. You could also try this for athlete's foot and other fungal skin infections. For this I would make up a very small quantity of oil and add the drops and gently massage into the affected area every night before bed. Never use essential oils neat on your skin as they can cause irritation. I've never used this particular brand before, but having now tried a few of their different oils they do seem good quality. The scents are clean and fresh, so and I would definitely buy this brand again.

Also known as lemon eucalyptus, this is fresh and invigorating in a diffuser blend and may also help with cold symptoms, and keep bugs away. It mixes well with eucalyptus, peppermint and tea tree (I think of these as medicinal oils) but also with clary sage and coriander. It's also meant to be a good hair/scalp oil but I haven't tried it like that so google for recipes and usage.

This eucalyptus Citriodora essential oil comes in a 30ml bottle. The smell is very strong but when diluted is very pleasant indeed.

The box was really difficult to get into. Comes with spout/dropper thingy. You can smell the oil through the box even when bottle isn't open. Much stronger than I thought it would be!

This is the perfect oil to complement tea tree oil in the fight towards fresh fungal free feet. I add a few drops to some jojoba oil along with tea tree oil and massage it into my toe nails and between my toes. I work 12 hours with boots on and my feet obviously get warm and moist, the perfect breeding conditions for fungal and bacteria problems inc athletes foot. Since using this mixture, I've had absolutely no issues with my nails or feet. It's an ongoing preventative but it's proving worth the few moments to apply.
