BLAUPUNKT 10" Single Voice Coil Subwoofer with 600W Power (GBW101) 1-PC Only, Black

Best subs for the money, I have seen... sound great. I admit it has only been a few days. We will see if the last. The build quality is outstanding...they look like high end speakers. I had an old school MTX Blue Thunder and an old school Rockford Fosgate Punch in my car and started to feel bad for bumping collectors items so hard, so I got these as a replacement... very comparable in sound! They actually hit some lows a little better than my old stuff... just need a bigger amp (300 watts rms compared to the old ones at 150 watts rms). If you have a box already, a fairly powerful amp, and need some replacement 10s, you can't beat this quality for $35 each. One thing to note is that they need oversized grills. The first set of grills that fit on my old school Rockford Fosgate and MTX speakers did not fit on these. Update: I upgraded to 3 of these in my car. I paid $35 for the first and $32, each, for the other 2. I put a Pioneer mono amp on them, running it down to 1.33 ohms (3 4ohm subs in parallel). They get about 250 watts RMS each and they are bangin! I have to use the bass remote knob to turn down the bass on some songd because they are almost jumping out of the box. Been running them hard for a bit now, we will see how they hold up!

For a relatively inexpensive set of subwoofers, these have a beautiful sound!! They are paired with an Orion 1500 2 ch amp. Once they are tuned right, they are very powerful and hit with a nice solid sound for your low bass sounds! I'm very impressed with these speakers! They actually Shake the trunk Lid in my 2025 Toyota Corolla SE!

Replaced the sub woofer speaker in my MTX powered subwoofer in my family room, it works great and probably better than the original speaker, it also fits in the en closer box like it was made for it. Great product at a great price.

It's a bit heavy but it's very powerful and it works just as advertised. I actually attached them (I bought several) and attached it to my stool and my old office chair, so when I played my video games or a action movie, I got excellent force feedback. Cheaper than buying a gaming chair which can cost hundreds!!!

I like subs. I always have. In my cars, in my house, doesn't matter. I have a subwoofer in my bathroom. I have four subwoofers in my living room. I have a subwoofer underground outside. I needed to replace a blown 10-in in a sealed Mirage powered subwoofer (150w +/-) to use in my workshop audio system. I had to modify the box a little bit but I installed this with a foam gasket under the edge. I let it run 'classic rock' at moderate volume for about 20 hours. Gave it a day off then 'hip-hop' at the same volume for another 20 hours or so. I returned a week later to do some work and I let it sing. Amazing. Don't let the single voice coil or generic look turn you off. This thing can get incredibly deep and fill the biggest room with thick rich bass. While I was on the other side of the basement 'Royals' by Lorde came on and when the bass hit I thought the sub was done for sure. No way it just hit that hard and survived. It did. The coil is still silent and flexing like crazy. You cannot get a better sub for under $40. We've been prime members for 15 years and have easily spent $100k+ here. This is the first review I've ever written. I actually came back to this page to buy some more and figured I would leave a review. It's amazing how well this thing performs for under $40.

I bought this to change out the 25 year old woofer in my HSU research VTF1.0 (the first version) While I didn’t realize until I added a 2nd sub that it had lost some extension over time, I tried this Blau because it’s a bargain and if it was not an improvement I’d put the original sub back in. Appears I gained a few dbs in overall output and gained some of the extension. I have always blocked both ports and run it in extension mode rather than maximum output mode as cone excursion is more controlled and smooth bass is what you want. Build quality is surprisingly robust. Well designed. Can’t say if it will last 25 years though… Update.. Passed the Oppenheimer test surprisingly well. The opening scenes will absolutely ruthlessly murder anything that is not robust. Very strong output without bottoming out at all. If you find it doing so then you have a vented box that is inappropriately dimensioned. Longevity thd but vast improvement over the 25 year old driver

I like when subwoofer creates a lot of deep bass but I hate it when the coil rattles. I bought it for my home theater setup and it was annoyingly rattely. I sent this back and bought the PRV 10 inch with a compromise of losing some of the deep low end but at least I got some clean mid-bass with no rattle.
