Honda CRV: The difference is night and day
I installed these headlights in 2012 Honda CRV. [1] The replacement lights are noticeably brighter than the OEM headlights [2] This makes a difference at night. In part because the CRV's OEM lamps were rather dim. These lamps are equivalent to halogen lamps on up-market cars. [3] The focus is better too. (Though this might be subjective.) [4] Installation is straightforward. I practiced with the old bulb first so that I was confident in my approach so that I would not need to touch the bulb at all. (Remember to wear gloves so that if you do touch it at least you would not be applying fingerprints which can degrade the bulb due to its temperature as per the label warning.) [5] Really happy with this. Definitely worth the upgrade. [6] These bulbs technically run at a slightly higher wattage. No issues with the CR-V. I'm just pointing out where some of the extra light is coming from. [7] The packaging and instructions are clear.

Actually Brighter
These bulbs are very bright and have good build quality. Easy to install, and the packaging is easy to open without much risk of touching the bulb glass. Tip: you should always avoid touching the glass of the bulb, especially with bare skin. The oils from your skin can stick to the bulb causing chemical reactions when the bulb turns on that could change the temperature improperly on the glass, causing the glass to break explosively, destroying the bulb. Always wear clean gloves when installing head lamps.

Clear and bright
I bought a different brand 2 months prior but never liked the color or light and brightness. Read the reviews and took a chance that these would be better. They are! Both high and low beams are clear and bright! These are a great value and the fit was great for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma.

Brighter than original lamps, lasted a year
The light is much brighter than stock lamps (so 5 stars for this), but the low beam died at the 1 year mark (taking off a star). I still liked it enough that I ordered a replacement. Maybe it will last longer this time round.

OUTSANDING! I can finally see at night!

OE upgrade
A night but tolerable upgrade to my OE bulbs. They put out a good amount of light, but not so much that they blind other drivers.

Replacement Bulbs Not Brighter, but Color is More White Than Yellow/Orange
I bought replacement bulbs on the advice of my mechanic - he thought they were were dim & not right color. I have a light intensity meter and also purchased a 3M lens polishing kit. My 2001 Tundra has permanent daytime running headlights. I measured the light intensity by moving the meter over the surface of the lenses for about 30 seconds focusing on the center of the lenses where the intensity was greatest. I set the meter to capture MAX values during the sweep. The meter units are KLux. Here's the results, Data - initial readings to new bulbs with polished lenses Daytime runners: 52% less intensity Low beam: 31% less intensity High beam: 9% more intensity Conclusions: The light color was more pure white with new bulbs versus a yellow/orange with original bulbs. To my eye, the bulbs with a polished lens appear brighter. A night time drive is needed to determine if these bulbs are better than the original. Polishing lenses vs. not polishing Daytime runners: 20% more intensity Low beam: 2% more intensity High beam: 11% more intensity Conclusions: Polishing lenses increases intensity. Notes: I averaged right & left side data. When I started this test & PM this morning, the left side daytime/low beam filament failed on turn on. So, my mechanic probably had enough experience evaluating headlight brightness/light color to determine my bulbs needed replacing. I will do a test drive at night and update my data soon.

Great Headlight Bulbs
They're great headlight bulbs. They're bright, they're a nice color, they're effective, and they're easy to install. The low beams are surprisingly bright. Worth the money.
