Finches Love It!
The birds love it, and it does not create a weed problem. It creates the typical mess under the feeder, but that is with all seeds. I wish the bag was resealable or had a pour spout to make filling the finch socks easier, but I have no complaints about the product. The quality seems good as the birds fight over it and it appears to be 100% Nyjer seed. So far it has attracted house finches and goldfinches where I live.

Great product! Birds loved it!
This is a great product! The birds loved it and came fast, so my little grands were so happy. It seemed super easy to use, our 4 year old helped me fill the bird feeder. It has no smell to us, but best of all it really didn't produce seeds so my daughter was thrilled with the fact of no mess. Which means it was a great value, and we will be buying it again!

Good quality seed
This is my first purchase of this seed. The seed is fresh and good quality. No issues with the seed being "old". I have 3 platform feeders and I sprinkled this on top of the loose seed I put in them. It didn't take long to see an increase in the smaller birds at the feeders. I like this packaging so I can just add it to the seed I put out rather than have it in a feeder of its own.

Not for house finches. Maybe gold finches.
I had house finches visit my bird bath on a 13th floor balcony in Denver but they would not touch this nyjer seed. I had it in a tube feeder. After more than a month, I replaced it with Black Oil Sunflower Seeds and drilled larger holes in the fine mesh nyjer seed feeder since the sunflower seeds are much bigger. Holy moley, what a difference! The birds made a mess with the hulls they would remove and spit out looking for just the seed. I believe house finches prefer these over shelled seeds. I got rid of the feeder and just put a tiny pile of these seeds on two small tables. They can't get enough! I do have to sweep up every other day but that's ok.

The squirrels don’t like it but the birds do. Just what I was hoping for.
