I bought this for my 12-year-old for Christmas and he loves it. He still uses it every day, months later. He shows off his ability to control to plasma beams, making them to go to his hand, and when his little brother makes the mistake of getting too close then he'll zap him. It's brought a lot of fun for something that you would think would get forgotten after the initial novelty wore off. I'm very pleased with the product and the quality is better than initially expected.

Beautiful and worked great, until it was dropped and the ball shattered. It reacts to touch as well as sounds. The sound function seems to work more off of deeper tones (ie a drum beat, not a person talking or singing - unless their voice is very deep). The ball is made of a very very thin glass and just shattered from a very short fall (1 foot). I don’t blame the seller or even the product as dropping it was on the buyer, though was a little surprised that such a small fall would result in such a large mess. :( I need to buy a new one to replace this gift and may replace with the same as it just worked... or may search for one a bit more shatterproof and sturdy. It is extremely lightweight, a bit more heft may have also kept is safer from being knocked over.

Very thin flimsy glass, thin plastic bottom, the cord is very short and thin as well. It does function though and it's cool

Does exactly what it says! Looks pretty cool, and can be set to sound activation, which is pretty neat as well.

This thing is really awesome. My daughter loves it. It’s worth the price. Smaller than I thought but for the price it is great.
