I set out to find some help with this problem. My goal was to find something I could wear every day, not just on workout days. I compared four different brands: Columbia, Rocky, Under Armour, and Ex Oficio.I had some pre-requisites. I required a front fly. Surprisingly, this really limited the field. I required normal colors...no neon, prints, or glaring logos. I made a slight exception for Rocky on the logo.Honestly, it was a close call and very subjective, but Columbia came out on top for me. Rocky was the best value. If limited to workouts, and not every day, Under Armour is probably best.Overall comparative ratings were: Columbia 5, Rocky 4, Under Armour 3, and Ex Oficio 3. Despite many reviews regarding possible quality control issues I placed an order for these boxer briefs anyway, and honestly I am happy I did make the purchase. I ordered the black with grey wasteband in a 2-pack and decided to take the initiative in washing them twice before wearing to avoid any color bleeding that has been a major concern according to previous reviews. After the initial washing I have worn both in the package and have not experienced any bleeding. I am 6'.0 and weigh roughly 245 lbs. and chose the 2XL and the fit is perfect for my hefty frame. I have not experienced any ride up or wasteband roll either. I'm as happy as anyone may get over a pair of male undergarments. I have actually had a heck of time finding a comfortable pair of boxer briefs lately after another manufacturer stopped selling on Amazon. I have tried both Adidas and Reebok without any luck and refuse to pay anymore than about $10-$12 a pair so I ended up giving these Rocky branded boxer briefs a shot and for me at least it appears to have finally paid off. Should the quality come into question over time I will be sure to come back and update this review. These are just darn good. They are smooth and comfy, seem very well made. It is like a second skin that truly moves with me. Not too tight though with good room upfront - junk don’t feel compressed. These are thin so I think best for warm weather and gym activities. I did a 40 mile bike ride in the heat with these on and never felt them, zero chafing, no heat buildup. Moisture wicking - no moisture build up either. Will buy more.Update: Would give these 10 stars if I could. I have biked with them, both road and mountain, kayaked, swam in the ocean. Even with sand in them from getting tumbled in the waves, you just never feel them at all.For size - I am a 34 in waist and tall - ordered large.

They are comfortable and have a ton of stretch to them. That being said, the black and white combination seems slightly softer and more comfortable than the same underwear in a black and red combination. I’m not sure if they’re different materials or more percentage of spandex. I prefer the black with white band, and they fit comfortably under clothing. Also good for use under workout shorts.My latest delivery was delayed twice and then I never received it.
