I once saw a Dani Katz calendar in someone's place of business and I loved it so much that every year since then I have looked for an updated version... but no luck. So when I saw Dani Katz had created a coloring book I was super excited and knew I would adore it. Now I am conflicted because I love the content of the book, her charming illustrations, inspirational words and positive, thoughtful messages. However, there is not much coloring to do unless you want to draw and doodle on your own. I don't draw well so I like to have outlines to color and fill in. If the book measures 8"x6" there are MANY pages where the illustration on the page is no more than 2"x2", and they are mostly illustrations, already filled in with black. I'm heartbroken because I was looking forward to coloring while reflecting on the content, and with so many pages and so much white space, now I'm just bummed out about the trees. Still longing for the calendar and debating a return.

This is a delicious, quirky and often profound book. I have been a fan of Dani's cartoons for some time and this is the first time she has gathered them in a book. I pick it up periodically, read some pages, and color as I feel moved to.

Beautiful book! Profound and shimmering all at once, Dani Katz has created a Be Here Now for the new new age. Every page is an inspiration, a meditation, a paradigm shift. Brilliant, unusual, hilarious. Totally recommend it!

I bought this for my 8 and 11 year old daughters. They loved the drawings, the positive messages, how substantial it is, and all the white space for them to add their own creations. Totally unique. Highly recommend.

As a huge fan of the I AM Calendar series, this is a dream come true - and 444 pages! Yes!
