I purchased the Kwikset Breton Interior Passage Door Handle (Satin Nickel) specifically for the entryway between our garage and foyer, and it’s been an excellent choice.The passage function is exactly what I needed—non-locking and ideal for spaces that don’t require privacy. Installation was straightforward, with clear instructions and a design that accommodates both left- and right-hand orientations easily.The satin nickel finish looks clean and modern, and the overall build quality feels sturdy and dependable. It also features Microban protection, which is a nice added touch for high-traffic areas.If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-install passage handle with a sleek appearance, this is a great option. So nice. Good weight and designed very well. However, no instructions included and it took me some time to figure out how exactly to install. Know this. Once main sections are installed you need to put interior handle on and use included Allen wrench to secure. I first pulled out Allen nut from main section and tried to install. No. Leave nut in then reverse turn nut out to secure. But … again great quality and weight.

This Breton Privacy Door Lever reminded me of the sturdy Kwikset products that my old man used as a professional door hanger many decades ago; especially the heavy front-door types he installed, where the weatherstripping was the metal “tongue & groove” method routered and tacked into the door slab and jam. Kwikset was always topnotch and in par with this caliber of installation. And today, it appears Kwikset is continuing this same integrity and with a very modern install technology that made my eight Bretons a snap to install.I would put the Kwikset quality a hair behind the Schlage line, which I have also used many times, but at these Kwikset prices, the difference here was totally inconsequential. In fact, while handling these Bretons—weighty and reactive and with a fine finish—they reminded me of the Emtek line—also more superior in quality, but even more so pricier, and again, not a direction I needed to go in.Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, these Kwiksets will not let you down.

I'm a door handle novice but I was able to get it installed. There aren't paper instructions included, you have to scan the QR code on the box to find them. I had trouble getting the center rod of the handle through the center hole of the latch, until I figured out how to match them up. The instructions didn't mention what the long, thin Allen wrench was for, but fortunately another reviewer gave clear steps. Once I got the first one done, the others were easy and fast to install. They feel substantial, look great, and are a good price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought is door handle set to match what was alread installed in my house. I need one I can lock with a key and doing a great job so far.

I replaced the old brushed nickel handles with these matte black handles and couldn't be happier! They were extremly easy to install and rekey to the existing kwikset keys. The handles are very sturdy and I'm sure they will last. The previous handles were 7 years old and still looked brand new, so I'm hoping these hold up just as good.
