FRUITION Jackfruit Shreds, 30.5 OZ

Really great product! I made three full meals out of just one bag. The key to jackfruit is making sure (like tofu) that it is REALLY dry. I will either slow roast it, or saute it and press the water while it cooks.

This was my first experience with jackfruit and I will never try it again. Yuck.

I used it to makes tamales instead of shredded pork. It tastes pretty good compares to some other meat substitutes I have tries in this recipe.

The listing Amazon did on this shows that there is no Sodium in it and that is a lie Amazon is not willing to correct. It says on the label that there is 55 mg of sodium per half cup but the label in the picture says 0 sodium.

The product was in good condition, and looked just like it says. I usually like everything, though, and jackfruit is a no-go for me. Tried it as bbq, it looked EXACTLY like pulled pork, but I actually couldn't even eat it. Tried to save it a couple of ways, but nope. Tangy, weird, mushy. At least the price was decent, and it was worth trying.

The bag came with a hole in it and it’s ineligible to return or get a refund. Waste of $20!!

Item was delivered in a clear plastic bag that was swollen with air. I opened to investigate the product and it smelled rancid. No option to return, so lost $20 of my grocery budget
