DO NOT BUY! Trust me please do not risk your safety or your family’s safety
DO NOT BUY! Cheap ass piece of crap. I almost lost a wheel. Brand spanking new and literally first drive they grind and when you go over bumps they pop and clunk! My entire suspension system is brand new and all tightened down to spec torque I’m a well practiced skilled free time mechanic and I know how to build cars and people trust me when I say this you don’t want to waste your time with these. At least in my case I have built a badass Jeep and I decided it was a good idea to replace my wheel bearing hub assemblies up front just for preventative maintenance and dude I immediately dug my old wheel bearings out the trash and put them back on. And guess what...no more pop or clunk! Cheap ass pieces of crap. What a damn waste of time and money. I’d rather trust my built Jeep on 21 year old mopar original wheel bearings then ever use these again. Do not get these if you have a Jeep with anything heavier then stock little tires. I have an hd steering kit, awesome lower control arms and bilstein 5100 shocks all around and dude just don’t do it. Keep the old ones on until you can fork out the money for mopar or equivalent quality bearings/hubs trust me please!

Don’t worry my sweet child, I was worried too, but they work great
I was super hesitant on these, mainly from the price of two being less than the normal price of one good quality assembly. But I am happily surprised with the quality. My old xj drove and shimmed like a tank going down the road. Threw these on and it’s like driving on a cloud compared to my blown stock assemblies. Installation went great, I’d also recommend replacing your ujoints and splash shield while doing this job, cheap and easy additions and makes the world for drive quality. Parts came fast, but I am also only a state away. I will give Detroit axel more consideration for parts in the future

Work for 99 xj
These look exactly the same as the higher priced “oem” into bearings.Install tips: 36 mm drive nut for the axle nut, which needs to be torqued to 175 ft lbs on a Jeep cherokee!! This is important!13 mm 12 pt drive bolts holding hub assembly.

Direct replacement
My son had both of his front axle shaft u-joints going bad on his XJ so I told him just replace everything he's taking off. We picked these up, he installed them and they ended up being a direct replacement for his stock ones. He doesn't have a lot of miles on the install yet, but that'll change in July when he gets his license. Will update this review if anything changes on these.

Great build quality so far
Exact fit and look to be great quality. I only have 300 miles on them but definately helped smooth out the drive on the highway. My old ones were still ok but had 170,000 miles on them. I just decided to replace them as I was doing u-joints, ball joints, and tie rod ends. I opted to go with these Detroit axles units instead of the Timkin units.
