Ito En Sencha Shot, Japanese Green Tea, 6.4 Ounce (Pack of 30), Unsweetened, Zero Calories

I've tried many different brands of green tea, mostly the brewing kind, and it's always difficult to find one in the US that's actually "green" the way I remember it from my childhood. So imagine my surprise when I found this tea in a can that had just the right color, with a hint of bitterness and a whiff of refreshing aftertaste. I drink this all the time now in the morning instead of my morning coffee, which has the disadvantage of leaving a bad aftertaste throughout the morning. This tea wakes me up with its slight bitter taste, and I feel so refreshed and energetic even though I imagine it has half the caffeine as most coffee brands. The small size makes it ideal for me to pop one or two in my purse to drink while I'm out and about at work when it may be difficult to grab a quick cup of coffee otherwise. And I also tried putting a dab on my cotton pad to refresh my face during the day at my desk. It's great for astringent, and given the price cheaper by the bucket than those I buy at drugstores..... So many uses, the right taste, and so convenient to use since it's in a small can. I highly recommend this for those who love green tea. For those not used to green tea, you'll start to love the bitter taste but it may take a few to get used to it.

This is one of my favorite diet teas- it’s low in calories and sugar, has a caffeine boost, plus tons of health benefits. Great quality and taste.

I love the flavor of this tea. Does not have that acetic acid taste that some bottled tea have. I do not like a lemony flavor to my tea or a tart taste. Is a small can, but this fits nicely into my lunch bag. Was very disappointed when found out local Whole Foods did not sell any longer. Found it, much to my delight, on Amazon. Unsweetened green tea, which I find difficult to locate in my area, I don't know why. Flavor is mildly strong for some I suppose, but I like it that way. If it is too strong for you just add some water. Healthy and good for you drink. Will be ordering more. 40 mg caffeine for slight pick me up when I need it.

I'm very impressed with the quality of this canned green tea. I personally enjoy drinking this beverage cold so I'll always have a bunch of these in the refrigerator. Provides steady, longer lasting energy pick me up without the jitters compared to other 0 or low calorie energy drinks which is perfect for those who are on an IF / OMAD eating schedule. I was able to fast 18 hrs today and had one of these around 4PM. Had Taekwondo class at 7:35PM. Just got done eating my one meal today and figured I would write this review before going to bed. Im going to try the same thing tomorrow and see how well this beverage helps me perform.

I lived in Japan for over 10 years and drank green tea every day. Ito En is a well-known company in Japan, so when I saw this, I had to order it. It is a thicker tea than what comes in the bottles, and it is unsweetened. It doesn't have any weird tasting preservatives like some American "unsweetened" tea does, so it tastes like tea. I'm so happy I can get this in the States!

ok, so after the second contact with Ito En customer service i discovered that they in fact did change the can background ! and some may notice as i did that the new cans do NOT say Non GMO but the rep. consulted w upper managemnt who stated that it is still Non GMO. thanks to people who responded to my q re the can color. the image that appears on this page at the top reflects the new can. i actually ordered another case and got the old cans so they are still shipping both.

This is a great item. Proof of this is that I've ordered it 8 times in the last year alone. It comes in boxes of 30 cans. I often order 2-3 boxes each time. The only problem is that the boxes of 30 cans is too weak to hold all 30 cans and the boxes come loose when they are delivered. I will continue to order this, but a sturdier box would be great.

While it tastes like lawn clippings, it does give you all day energy. Literally all day. Don't drink within 12 hours of trying to sleep. Forget energy drinks, this stuff works AMAZING. No sugar, no HFCS, no taurine, etc... Just tea, water and vitamin C. Used to be hard to find, thank you amazon. Also will make your feet sweat, as it helps your liver remove toxins. After first few, the foot sweating stopped.
