Lots of power in this 5k amp. Textbook upgraded from a 2k to match my subs now they sound great with deep, clean bass. Seems pretty durable. Functions as it should and does not over heat. Overall, great value for the money.

I run a bunch of these in a car audio build, six of them to be exact and they do great I only use these under hard use and abuse they work well, I have only had one blow and it was due to vibration while it was on my wall, this is the best value amplifier out their

Definitely need an upgraded power supply. I'm running 96ah of headway lithium as well as a uc31 super capacitor on a 240a alternator and I rarely see 13.8ish. That's running 3 DC audio level 4 10s in a ported enclosure in my F150. Very happy with the entire set up. The provided power/protect/clip light is a nice addition as well as a clip light that is dead on! Will highly recommend this Taramps for sure! .5 ohm stable and constant rms from .5 ohm to 2 ohm is really nice 👌

I love Taramps. I upgraded to this from the smart 3k. It works great so far. I have it powered by a 300 Amp alternator and a 56Ah lithium headway Bank. The dual power and ground inputs are nice. It will fit a 2/0 gauge wire. The fans are a bit noisy when powering up and down but not bad when running. The shipping packaging was horrible. It was just loose in a box sliding around with no protective packaging whatsoever. How it got here in one piece is unknown to me, but it made it. I will update when I get some more play time at .5 ohm. At 1 ohm it is stable. Great buy. Update: 2 weeks of play time I heard two loud pops and it went into protect at 1 ohm. Had to return it. When it died it was running at a barely audible volume level. I will buy an Orion HCCA DSPLX 3k. They put out 5 to 6k. They take almost a month to refund the purchase apparently. So I get to drive around with no music and miss all the bass wars competitions for a month. It didn't take that long for them to take it out of my account at the time if purchase though.

Works perfectly, it really gave my speakers a big boost in sound! They cans hear me from a mile away.

About to install it, but over all a very nice looking amplifier! But honestly paying literally almost $500 the packaging needs work!!!! I love the fact that it's in another box, so it's not showing what it is. It had to much space for it to bounce around (not enough paper) one rip sheet of brown paper just won't protect it.So not sure who's responsible for the final packaging before shipping the product. But shipping was super fast THANK YOU!!!

I won't buy this amp anymore!! Within a month it was playing fine but then I realized my batterys where dead!! Once I went through everything I found out if was my amplifier and it was just staying on and get crazy hot!! It still works and everything but I can't have to worry about it checking on fire!! My month was over to send it back and couldn't get in touch was TARAMPs!! So if you want this to happen to you then go for it

First of all I’m a professional installer for over 20 years, I have many reputable and high end brands I’m able to get at dealer cost yet I am willing to pay full retail for these amps. Why would I do that? They are absolute power houses and they run so cool compared to any and every Korean, USA design amp (I don’t have A/C and even when it’s 100 outside these amps don’t go thermal, the longest any of my other amps would play with similar conditions is 15-20 min). Currently I have two smart 5 bass running 4 sundown X v.3 10’s each amp is wired to .5 ohm. I have sufficient electrical with two XS power titan8 batteries and a mechman elite 370A alternator . It stays above 13v. Once you go Brazilian you dont go back

This new line of Taramps Smart 5 bass is amazing, doing stable .5 ohms to 2 ohms at a constant 5k rms is amazing... this amp make my 18s hit them note, big! Keep in mind you need very good electrical, its a must, it takes power to make power...
