How much weight can these hold? Looking to use as part of a tarp system in windy conditions.

They are just aluminum, so I don't think I would us it to hold down a tarp covering anything important. They would probably work for short term. But in the long run, I would like that they would eventually fail. I use these for attaching gear to my rucksack, and for that they work great.
