The quality of this product could be better. The color is definitely not even close to what is being advertised. This is the vintage. I do like the paper inside but the binding does not feel very secure. It’s okay for myself but I would not give this to anyone as a gift. It also comes in a plastics bag and not the bag shown in the video. I am very disappointed at this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Ad says the gemstone is lapis but it isn’t genuine. Other than that the only other thing is the numbers handwritten on the inside back cover. It makes no sense that it’s there. It ruined the whole effect of the book’s rustic charm. I could overlook the fake gemstone but not the writing.

The journal is beautiful the only thing is that you and the middle of it is a lot darker than picture but that didn't matter at all to me

Could be better. Only positive I would say about the journal is that the cover looks pretty and the pages are decent quality. (I haven’t tried the paper, just judging based on touch) But overall, the journal could be better. The craftsmanship is sloppy. The “leather” is obviously cheap and paper-like. If you’re not careful you can easily damage the journal. You can tell the edges were just cut and not sealed up to prevent freyed edges, which mine indeed has.The inside of the clasp was not cut properly and kinda just left half cut and stuck out. The black paint bled through the stitching, which I can overlook but it is kinda unattractive, not to mention that even the stone was painted on. The little flap on the journal also isn’t cut straight. It’s cut crooked and on the pattern, which is a shame.The binding of the book is weak and unsturdy. I have some experience in book binding and the pages have a bit too much space in between the other pages. The paper is punched in so harshly that it’s not a clean punched in hole, but more like ripped paper. It could have definitely been tightened up/pressed flat and fit another page. The spine is also punched in unevenly and so harshly that it will break eventually. You can tell that the journal was not made carefully. I am kind of a perfectionist, so the craftsmanship did bother me. It could be a nice gift?? It IS pretty. On the outside But, overall depends on you and if you have an eye for detail or neat craftsmanship.
