Plays and sounds great
I can't justify spending thousands on an acoustic guitar, so this was a nice compromise and I am very pleased with the purchase. The guitar did not need to be professionally setup upon arrival, so I guess I got lucky. Going from an old $99 guitar to this was a major upgrade in playability and sound.

For the price, real nice
Good build quality, great sound. Smaller than I thought it would be but all good.

Nice Guitar but Action needed to be corrected
This is an excellent instrument. It plays nicely (after adjustment; see below) and has a nice bright sound. The order fulfillment process was excellent as well. One main issue mentioned in another review: The action on this particular guitar was terrible in the as received condition. I brought it to a Taylor authorized service center who made adjustments under warranty and brought the guitar into Taylor manufacturing specifications. Now all is well. I was initially disappointed; now I'm a happy man!

Very happy with it
Great guitar. It has amazing tone especially for one of the more affordable Taylor’s. It arrived really fast too.

Awesome
The guitar looks so good that I have to play it at least once a day. Laminated back and sides? Doesn't matter sounds better than a seagull s6 my friend has. Also makes it sturdier. Truss rod works like magic. Slight crack near the bottom of where the neck meets the body, but it's just aesthetics.

Amazing sound
It has very good texture, good resonance and very soft to the touch. I’m very happy👍🏼

It's Really Really Good (and not just for the price)
I play mandolin. My duo partner plays this guitar (he threw a ToneRite on it for a few weeks but I didn't think it needed it). Sometimes I grab it for a song or two and I never want to put it down. A few gigs ago someone comes up, wants to grab his Taylor, and THEY can't put it down. Snob Disclaimer: I just spent a few hours in a room of $4000 - $7000 guitars. None sounded better than this guitar. HOWEVER, they were more responsive. So there's the difference. If you strum for fun then stop looking. Buy this. If you're reaching for something musically then you start considering how the guitar responds to your particular touch. At this point you're looking for tuned tops from smaller shops. It's worth noting the lower bout is 15" which is starting to get a bit big. It's a non-issue standing but sometimes sitting I wish it were a touch smaller. Add $100 to the purchase price for a proper setup. They ship these things so they'll work in Hawaii or Nevada. It's non-negotiable - you need the instrument set-up for your local climate.
