If you paint with acrylics or gouache water colors, these paints could be the best ever for very vibrant colors and solid opaque coverage. Good value for money. Quality paints. Not the traditional gouache so it will dry like acrylic and won't reactivate like traditional gouache. I use both types of gouache on the same painting. Get some interesting affects!

Just what I expected from gouache paint. It has a creamy, good consistency, and the colors are vibrant. However, they dry quickly, and start turning grainy on the pallette. Overall, I think it was a good purchase.

So amazing! I never understood the excitement around acrylic gouache but turns out it’s not just hype. The flow, the way they act like watercolor but dry permanent. Honestly I think turner brand better that the other more popular brand from Japan for acrylic gouache in particular. Even if they were not less expensive I would choose them every time. Beautiful set of paint worth every penny! Try a small set and you will be blown away! It’s not something that is easy to describe but it’s definitely something worth exploring.

Good quality paints with good coverage and mix easily. So glad it's from Jerry's, my favorite art supply store. It was too hot to go shopping. There are two choices, Standard for Americans and a Japanese assortment. Love them both.

Good, well-priced set of gouache paints. A little goes a long way. Many professional book illustrators I know, use these in their artwork. I'm a beginner gouache painter, so not a lot to compare. The only other acrylic gouache I've used is Holbein, which is creamier, and has noticeably richer color - however they are expensive. As a beginner with acrylic gouache, the Turner is a great choice and will get you into using acrylic gouache with nice results. It leaves a fine, matte finish and is truly opaque - just what you want with gouache.

love Turner! but one of the tubes is pretty dried up. Sadness....

What can I say about these paints ? They are the best on the market. The colours are so pigmented. The consistency is excellent. I use them to paint flat or to give watery, thin strokes of colour. Omg the colours are superb !! I repeat buy this brand all the time. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these paints.

These paints have all the dense flat properties of gouache combined with the permanence of acrylic. With an easily workable consistency these paints are great for detail and blending. I would recommend them to everyone.
