Good size and heats quickly.

I’m so very happy with this purchase!! I’ve been wanting an electric kettle for a long time and this one is just the right size and matches my kitchen perfectly! It’s lightweight but seemingly good quality. I love that you can see the water through the little clear measuring window. It heats the water super fast too. There were some reviews that complained of steam coming out from the handle a bit, which is true, but I personally haven’t had any issues with it so far. I have used this thing daily for the whole month since I got it. I just make sure to open up the lid to let it dry out once I’m done using it. But I suppose only time will tell how well it holds up with more use. But for the price and the size/color, I highly recommend!!

Loved it. Quick boil- less than 2 mins and easy to use. Loved to auto shut off. Just right for daily for elderly father up through 18 months. In the last 6 months used less —maybe just 2 times a week. I noticed a few weeks ago it was either not staying on to get to the boiling point. Also it would sometimes stop boiling and seem to turn off but then randomly restart. Today I used it and it boiled so hard that steam was pouring out of it from any opening which is not safe. I figure this is now a fire hazard. Gonna have to kick it to the curb.

Worked well several times a week for almost 2 years. Last few weeks switch would not click to ON.

I had to replace my old Hamilton Beach electric kettle. The automatic shut-off was beginning to fail, so I got this as a replacement. Note that this is a small kettle. I was surprised, but it’s actually big enough for my needs so, not a problem. The inside is very neat and therefore easier to clean. The heating element and automatic shut-off are neatly tucked away somewhere. If you pick it up off the base before the automatic shut-off has triggered, it does not turn off (like my old kettle did) so when you put it back on the base it will continue to heat the interior. I guess it’s not a problem unless it is empty - although I have not tested this with an empty kettle. If you tilt it forward too much when pouring, water will come out of the lid – so be careful. Incidentally, the lid is hinged and has a nicely designed, spring-loaded catch. I saw comments about poor quality but mine appears to be solidly constructed. Finally, it is (IMHO) a handsome kettle. So, pluses and minuses but no major problems. It’s a good electric kettle.

Love it!! So fast - hot water in a flash!!

I've had this for two years now, and it is attractive, quiet, and boils water super fast. I always thought boiling water on the stove or microwave was easy enough--why'd you need an electric kettle? And now I'd never go back. A pot on the stove takes 15 minutes to boil and this thing boils in 2 minutes if it's halfway full, or about 4 minutes if it's all the way full. It's so satisfying and I love the red color! I waited to review because I often wish I knew more about if something was going to break or not, from reviews, and this thing has been consistent without a glitch for 2 full years now! Great value for the money.
