OMG... They really do work for progressive vision!
As a regular PRIME member I rely heavily on reviews before I make a decision to purchase an item so that's why I'm letting anyone interested in these progressive readers know what I've experienced and how these little guys performed when they arrived at my front door...I didn't realize that you could buy progressive readers online without an RX from the doctor.. but obviously you can and WOW these are amazing. So I ordered my regular strength of 2.5 for these glasses and figured I'd check it out and I could always return them if they do didn't live up to the claims I've seen here at Amazon.I didn't have high expectations but still thought there could be a remote change these really do delivery all that they say about them. When they arrived today I immediately put on the blue pair and yep, the up close reading was spot on and I looked up from my reading to view the TV and sure enough I could see the TV without having to remove the glasses for distance viewing. As far as the middle area which they call the TRANSITION area is concerned... it's somewhere between the close up and distance viewing. The frames themselves are really professional looking and sturdy... something you'd find at your optometrists office... seriously I don't know how they can sell these so inexpensively OR the prices at the optometrists offices and other similar locations are so OVERPRICED it's not funny.. you'd swear these are from lens Crafters or similar. Now just because I can now buy these online without an Rx.. I'm definitely not losing sight of the need to have an annual exam for the health of my eyes. Recently a family member was diagnosed with cataracts and immediately had the outpatient surgery to remove the cataracts so I definitely won't be skipping the in-office annual exams.

fragile
keyboard view works great! 18" elevated monitor (lowering might help) is weird trying to find best view? before had to remove and stand up as lens at bottom to see close. just had cateract surgery for distance only. .25 / .75 its better than just bi-focals .275 as distance is somewhat visible? i will ware for compter use. they are correct; it will grow on you to ware all the time. from another seller got sun glasses w/ bi-focal / HD wore all day outside and in. all for $30 several glasses. not best frames but for$10? good test pair!walmart wanted $100 just for progressive plus scrips. 75k for hospital had to save. $300 for glasses?

colors not as described
glasses are nice, good value for money, but colors were not as described. I did not receive blue ones. I got 2 black ones. (sellers fault, not the glasses)

1st set I got in 2022 pair were great! unfortunately, qa/qc has gone down.
The 1st time I ordered these (in 2022) they were the correct prescription and comfortable. After wearing them for a while, one of the pair broke. So, at that time I purchased another order for a new set to have as backup. I went to use a pair from the 2nd order only to find out that they are the "wrong prescription". The bottom of the lenses are good for reading but when I look up it's blurry. I understand that manufacturing mistakes can happen, but I just want to have this order replaced. This 2nd order I made was so that I wouldn't have to go without glasses. I work on computers and it's very important that these glasses are the correct prescription. They sent another set recently to "try" to correct the previous wrong prescription. Surprise!!! These ones have the same issue. Good for closeup reading only. This is very frustrating due to needing glasses on a daily basis for work. QA/QC is horrible!!!

They are just ok
My prescription changed so I had to order new readers. The previous ones I had came in a box of 5 and were blue light, didn’t scratch, no glare, and were comfortable for a great price. Unfortunately they did not offer them for my prescription needs. I ordered these because I like the idea that they were progressive and they had pretty good reviews. They look nice and are lightweight. However, they tend to make the bridge of my nose hurt after awhile and pinch behind my ears. Also, I have a habit of dropping things. My other glasses hit the floor more times than I can count and never a scratch. The first time I dropped these there was a deep scratch on the lens. I was very disappointed. Considering these are the only 2 pairs I have for now they will have to suffice until I can find some new ones that are scratch resistant. Other than that, they are not a bad pair, they look good and I like the progressive factor ( better than looking over the top of the glasses on a basic reader). If you don’t drop things like I do you may want to give them a try.

Good quality and great transitions
Best progressive glasses I've bought yet, and I've bought many! The transitions aren't blurry. They have a good fit (many are too loose for me), and they are sturdy. I've had too many w flimsy frames that break, but I don't feel that will be an issue w these.

Not what I ordered
Was trying to choose glasses with clear for far vision, as that's the norm after cataract removal. I thought I was getting 2.25 in the reader scaling to zero in the top, but that's not what I received. They are 2.8 to 1.2 or something comp different. They work OK for reading but I can't leave them on, and computer distance is also better without.

Really awesome readers that work!
This is my 3rd set of these progressive reader glasses, and I can tell you they are fantastic. The top gives about a +1 magnification, then as you raise your head it gets stronger. They are readers but they feel like prescription, and getting 2 pair for about $13 is great. The arms are spring loaded, the feel is sturdy, they are molded to one single piece so there aren't any misaligned nose pads. The reason I have gotten 3 sets of these, the first set one pair got scuffed right at the pupil level when I dropped them so I bought the 2nd set and got a little stronger, now for the most recent set they are a little more stronger again, but I have not used them yet.Regular single magnification readers are fine, but these progressives kick it up a notch for sure.
