Hasn’t worked since it arrived
Ordered and delivered on time in great packaging etc etc.Went to start it up per instructions which are pretty basic and easy to figure out.During the initial Pre heat (burn off for initial use) to max heat approx 600* it stopped at 275* with an error code 4 showing on the LED display.Followed the trouble shooting directions and same thing again, 2 or 3 more attempts and same thing kept happening.Unplugged it and my wife ended cooked my steaks on a grill pan on the stove, it’s now 9:30pm.Tried again the next night to same results.I called Weber and spoke to a “Tech” who was reading from a book that the heating element was bad and would send a new one 2 day delivery.6 days later the heating element arrived, simple switch out plug and play type install (1 screw)Got ready to fire up grillSame error a code 4, tried to reset and same , same ,same results.I’m now ready to see if this grill can fly from my 12th floor balcony.Called Weber again who now want to schedule a home visit with a tech.“Thank You sir sorry for the inconvenience a tech will reach out to you in 10-14 BUSINESS DAYS” 😤Are you kidding me!It’s now 7 days into the wait and a local Weber distributor called last night to make an appointment for today to come and get the grill to take it to their shop to attempt to fix it.There are basically 3 parts to the grillThe body of the grillThe Heating elementThe controls elementIt can only be the control element at this pointGrill, Cart and Cover $1.257.00C’mon Weber, surely you’re better then thisUpdate…Weber tech called me to tell me the Control Element is bad and has ordered a new one from Weber, it should be here in a few days.

So far so good.
It's an electric grill. I like the temperature gauge and it seems to be very accurate. Comes with two probes which seem high quality. Seems easy to disasseble and clean. The grill easily comes off and seperates into two halfs for easy cleaning. I bought it impulsively bc it was 80% off, hoping that they made a griddle accessory because I was looking for a nice electric griddle. Asked the company when I bought it and the said they don't make a griddle insert and, as of 1/24, I haven't seen them come out with a griddle accessory. I got it from 250$ so I'm not complaining so much. Nevertheless, I don't grill much and , further, it's hard to get it above 350F outside in the NY winter, so I've only used it once in 3 months since buying. I might try to resell it.

Poor off-shored customer service.
Right out of the box, first time, it did not work. Tripped the GFCI. So I assumed the GFCI was bad and replaced it. Still tripped the new GFCI. Plugged it into a non-GFCI receptacle, and it tripped the breaker. Two different error codes on the grill display. Followed the trouble shooting steps which did not resolve the issue. Contacted customer support by email. Very frustrating and annoying process. Every email reply from them asked for additional information. Every reply came from a different person. And they didn’t bother to read the previous emails, so repeatedly asked for the same information. Eventually they shipped a replacement burner which resolved the problem. But it was a painful customer service experience.

I love this grill
I had some initial hiccups as it kept tripping my GFCI - they sent me a brand new controller and heater overnight. I tried each one and it turned out to be a bad heater. I returned the parts at Weber's cost. No issues. It has been working like a dream ever since.I gets to over 600F. Cooks tasty steaks / pork chops, 3 pound roast rib eye, pork belly. The drip pan catches most of the grease and the aluminum lower liner catches the rest.I just take the grates out of the grill and soak the with Dawn Powerwash in the sink for an hour - I have a rubber mat under them to protect the sink. The a good old scrub. If you cannot use open flame or gas then this electric grill is the bomb. Condo HOA rules.

It's a Weber !!
Our Condo Community recently banned the use of Gas Grills. I read all of the Reviews and noticed Weber has a number of Electric Grills. I've used Weber Gas products for years, they are my choice for grills.I've grilled 3 T-bone steaks on the Pulse and see little difference from Gas.

Expected better from Weber
Expected better from Weber - remediation didn’t fix it and when returning Amazon wouldn’t let us order a replacement - I had to Return and reorder.

I bought this grill 3 weeks I still can't use it. I am so AGGRAVATED
The day it was delivered, I tried to use it and was getting error codes on the controller. I tried to reset it numerous times per the instructions. After calling Weber customer service, they opened a case and askedfor a picture of the controller and serial # of the grill. I emailed everything, 3 days ago and they cant give mea simple answer to my question which is "When are they shipping my new controller so I can use my grill".They asked me what the problem is all over again. Absolutely ridiculous after spending $850.00
