GP30 - Czerny and Hanon for Intermediate Grades - Bastien (Music Through The Piano)

Czerny exercises are both beautiful and teaches my students the techniques they will need as they advance. I used these in high school many years ago. Great book for serious students.

This is a classic book for someone trying to learn I bought it for my 8yo daughter and so far it is going well, good boo.

This publication was discovered as I was checking my teenage grandson's practice books; it took me back to my youth when practicing every morning began with Hanon technique scales. Finding these old familiar exercises plus Czerny selections in one booklet was a "must order" for me. The Czerny studies (20 in all) as stated are an "indispensable part of the young pianist's technical program", and are more than enough for my aging arthritic hands. Technical practice is enhanced by the musical sounds these studies provide the "student's" ear!

I love the combination of Czerny and Hanon together. It's a great book for beg/int to learn finger dexterity.

Love this book. It's a perfect in-between for young pianists.
