Brought this item, took it out of the packet and was scratched, oiled up and started to use it and kept locking out, maybe just a faulty gun who knows

I love the feel of this 2235timax impact gun! It has so much power to remove anything I throw at it. I am a licensed automotive and heavy duty construction mechanic. I have been using Ingersoll Rand air tools since 1995. I bought my first titanium impact from Ingersoll Rand back in 2001. It has lasted till July 2021 being used for daily heavy work and it never failed. It removed wheel nuts torqued to 500 ft pounds no problem when other brands failed. As long as you feed it grease and oil it will outlast/outwork any other 1/2" gun on the market. Whether you are a professional or a part-time/hobby mechanic you will not go wrong by purchasing this impact gun.

This is a great gun at a great price. The second one I've had. First one lasted 14 years under daily use as a dealership Automotive technician. Still works but it's time for an upgrade. Totally recommend for the service professional as an alternative to more expensive Snap-on, Mac Etc.
