I am not very much into giving reviews on any product I buy online but this time the quality of this product and its functionality calls for it. Buying this Chair Lift for me has been a tremendous help and a game changer in the care I provide for my husband. I was surprised how well this device work because is like having a portable small elevator from the floor to a sitting position available to you when you need it! I never expected to find this innovative and well-made product in the market when I started to shop for some aids or techniques to help someone who has fallen or slide to the floor to stand up with the least of the efforts from them or the helper or care giver. This is a product that really works, well built and very easy to handle. It is more than a blessing if the person who needs to stand up help themselves to be positioned on the chair but if that is not the case it cost little effort for you and any care giver to sit him or her on the Chair Lift since it has 2 extended ramps to the side that facilitates that person to be positioned on the Chair. It is easy to carry, though a little bit heavy, any regular standard size person can handle it with ease. The Chair Lift It is definitely a high quality, durable product with very sturdy material used in its fabrication. It is a definitely a plus especially with respect to accessibility, safety and care-giving in general. I have used it sometimes for my husband when he slides to the floor and can’t get back up. The caregiver and I positioned him back into the Chair Lift and he was up in his feet in not time! Definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. It saves me time, it gives me a peace of mind knowing I can handle falls in case I need it, it gives me independence from external help and has made my life more stress free knowing that I can help my husband in an easy and safe way. The customer service is also excellent. There is a real person on the other side of the phone line willing to listen to your concerns and gives you immediate answers. It is really a nice surprise since most of the service provided for mechanical or digital devices you buy online are not that responsive. So, I definitely give this business five thumbs up!! The electric motor driven chair is incredible, amazing. As stated, it arrived 100% operational, including the hand device you need to plug into the chair and press, that raises the seat from flat on the floor to sitting. There is a one-page guidance form to enable immediate operation. In addition, a booklet is included for general use.

The chair works well to lift a person from the floor. It is easy to use. It appears that it will function well for its intended purpose. I would suggest 3 modifications that would make this a better unit. The side boards help in transferring from the floor to the chair, but they are very flimsy and are not strong enough to allow help with standing or to change position when seated. The chair back does not lock in place, so it can open when carrying the unit. A latch to keep it closed would be helpful. I used a bungee cord. There is space on the chair back to hold the controller and the charger. This would be useful to keep all items together. I store the controller under the bungee cord I used. I will use a velcro strap to hold the charger to the chair back.

This lifts so easy to set up. The instructions are short and to the point. Not a 20-page book of junk and disclaimers. The chair, when tested works great. Thankfully, haven’t had to use it yet!

My father is 250lbs and has severe edema. He cannot bend his legs. He sleeps on a recliner and tends to 'slip off' during the night. The first times this happened I was able to call a friend to help. The next time it was a call to the EMT's. I found this chair online and if it works, would save me the headaches (and ambulance bills) moving forward. The chair is about 35lbs. A tiny bit cumbersome to move around, but it's pretty sturdy and I have tile floors so it can be drug if needed. I brought it over for dad to see. I sat on the floor and scooted myself to the fold out seat (I wanted dad to see how we would use it). I pressed the buttons and up it went. The motion is slow and stable. The back of the seat raises to a 90 degree so it supports the back as it rises. When it reaches its max height - dad can use his walker to pull himself to a standing position. I have used it 5 times now and LOVE THIS. Every time I put it away, I say "I need to write a review, so others know how great this thing is"...well, here is the review. This chair has been a life saver. I do plug it in to charge about every 2 weeks for about 30 mins - just so I know it is ready to go. Dad actually said that chair has been a God send!

This chair lift is a lifesaver! I've now used it twice to successfully get my 87 year old mother off the floor. I wouldn't have been able to do this without this device because I am disabled myself. It really works! Whoever invented this device deserves all the best in life. I hope they get nothing but green lights when they drive down the street, I hope they find $20 in their couch cushions and I hope their steak is always perfectly cooked. 🙂

This chair works exactly as described. Yes, we tried it out several times. The peace of mind it now gives us as a couple who have both landed on the floor more times than we should is so good. I will no longer need to call for help when he ends up on the floor. We won’t be using it in the bath so I cannot speak to that, but you never know. Cost? Peace of mind! Delivery? Rapid! Ease of use? Simple!

I have used it for one fall when I was transferring from the shower bench to my wheelchair. Once I got it set up, it lifted me and I was able to slide over to my wheelchair seat. I also used it when I got an electrical cord tangled up in the wheels of my powered wheelchair. I used it to lower myself to the floor so I would untangle the cord. Then lift myself back up to get back into the wheelchair. I am rigging up a suitcase dolly to be able to easily move it around the house to where I will be doing something where I need to get down to floor level. What is interesting is that this device was developed for a totally different purpose. So a handicapped person can get in and out of a bathtub. Hence it is waterproof. I have not taken a bath for years as I have been unable to get out of the tub. The side boards fold upwards nicely and it can lower a person into a tub, then after, bring them up level again with the rim for exit. While I have been living only taking showers, that there is a dual purpose would help sell more if mentioned in the description, While it is a little pricey I am glad I purchased it. Just a warning that this product is largely plastic in construction and while it seems sturdy enough I doubt that it will not take bush abuse. Use it within limits and carefully, Do just fall onto it, slamming your weight onto it suddenly.

Operates exactly as described. Since my original purchase, the chair has been used several times. My wife has restricted movement and when she fell of the floor was unable to get up. Prior to the purchase of the chair, I required help from another person. After the purchase I could achieve a satisfactory result on my own. Prior to finding the Maidesite chair I was faced with paying significantly more to achieve the same result. I would be more than happy to have the chair with little use as it gives me assurance that I have an option available when needed.
