A New Tune A Day: Flute - Books 1 and 2

Band class likes flats. This book starts with the keys of C, G and F. I like it for private and group lessons. Starts with the lower octave. Lots of useful etudes and songs. Second octave is introduced and the keys are expand to D, A, Bb and Eb. Good material.I have combined ensembles play simple Christmas songs for church andrecital. I use Christmas Kaleidoscope book one for violin. Harmony parts are two low for flute. I like strings on harmony and flute on melody. Parents are very happy!

Per chi comincia è bene accostare a questo lo studio di un libro più semplice cone "Il flauto per principianti" di Trevor Wye vol.1

There are four bits of information on the Flute Fingering Chart that are obviously important but there is no printed information on what they mean. They are 3L , 3R , 4R and a capital A and B with a circle around them. These two are in the high a#/ b flat and b. If anyone can enlighten an absolute beginner I would be most grateful.

Omg the best and most fantastic book for learning flute. Makes everything easy to understand . Gets you understanding with in seconds. A must buy and will buy another copy again , cause I love this book so much.

A lovely purchase! This omnibus edition gives excellent value for money. If you are serious about learning the flute, I recommend you to go for it. You'll cross book 1 and be looking around for the sequel otherwise.
