I threw in the towel on the idea of doing this by celery stalks, and not even juicing, just getting to eat celery regularly. I've found it just too difficult to consistently buy good celery, and then the hassle when I do of wrapping stalks, storing them, I don't like it. So it wasn't working for me the hunter-gatherer way. Too many times not getting to buy good celery no matter how many of my near stores I hopped to, would derail me from ingesting celery long enough to benefit from it. And I'd tried the seeds option before and gotten nothing visible from it. So once again found myself wanting benefits of celery and looking for practical way here on amazon and found the juice option. This brand appeared to me to have a lot of positives, including affordability along with purity of the product, as I just need celery. Too many supplements I can't take because they are mixed with some kind of supplement I can't tolerate for whatever reason. So I liked that this was just pure celery powder. However, I was concerned about some saying it tasted horrible, gross, etc as I already am dealing with having to drink a calcium blend that tastes at best flavor, like drinking cigarette butts, and mind over matter gets me through that swallow for that brand that's best for me. But as you see, I will tolerate bad taste for best results. And so I was braced for 'gross' taste as some other reviewer has called the taste. I totally was not expecting to have the pleasant taste of vegetables, like I was drinking vegetable juice, very pleasant to me. Not long back I had started to drink the water from the broccoli I would steam, etc, and I've developed a like for vegetable flavor. And every time I've drunk this, which hasn't been too many as I just got it few days back, consistently its tasted as a pleasant vegetable taste to me, and I'm talking about just putting the suggested dose into simple tap water, nothing else, I've got too much to do otherwise to get fancy on what I drink it in, why I just use the mind over matter technique for drinking that calcium. So, I've determined, then, to purposefully focus as I drink it, that it is a simple vegetable juice taste, a consistency better than water, having a substance like you are getting something like a meal as I am drinking it, and how pleasant it is, so that I reinforce that I really like to drink this, look forward to it, and keep the habit, so it is happy nutrition time for me and not a grief, and it also is working to help me break associations that drinking something that is 'good for you' is as unpleasant as drinking cod liver oil with caviar ( 2 yuckies don't like). So I wanted to take the time to share this to bring to light that you might like the taste as much as I do, if you have read reports of others writing about how horrible they found it. For me it is too early to tell how it is benefiting me, but it seems to me I've seen noticeable changes in some edema. Right now the plusses are outweighing any negatives to me, including the negative of one more supplement at such costs. While this one is not too high of a cost, you add up 10 to 15 supplements a month, it is out of control already, and to that purpose I have cut some out as I don't want to be spending too much on these things that are supposed to improve my health, however, one has to watch out that the costs don't start killing you financially, so it becomes the quandary of life by nutrients while trying to fit it in, while trying to avoid early death by financial drainage. So far this celery powder I find tastes good, seems to be worth taking more of, and hasn't crossed the point to killer costs, yet! So I've added it to my 'gonna keep taking list' on a probation basis, if all stays good, and I actually see some kind of positives beyond taste.

Great quality and pleasant tasting when mixed with water.

This has a mild celery taste. Blends well into cold water, especially if I give it a few minutes and shake again. I'm on my second bag of this stuff. I mix it with pomegranate and tart cherry powder for a synergistic effect.

This powder is awesome. I used to put fresh celery and water in a blender, add some lemon or lime and drink it every morning. Now, I use this instead (still with lemon or lime, for flavor and for health benefits) for the convenience factor. The taste isn't exactly the same, but I love that the fiber content is left in (they use the whole stalk). I will try to add a picture of how the drink looks when it settles - the fiber settles at the bottom. Just give it a quick stir before sipping! I personally want all of that fiber in there. I started drinking celery juice because my husband was doing it and kept encouraging me to try it. It's not my favorite flavor, so I might not have kept with it had I not noticed that my GT (geographical tongue) completely disappeared within two days of having a celery drink in the morning. I wanted to see if I could switch to this celery powder and still keep my GT at bay. Yup! If I go off this celery powder drink for one day I can see the difference on my tongue. Two days, the difference is very visible. Once I start drinking it again, by the next morning it is starting to disappear and it's usually gone or barely noticeable after a couple of days. I have no idea why celery heals my GT, but I have tested this (accidentally, if I forget a dose) time and time again and the scenario plays out the same way every time. I am THRILLED that I can take this powder with me when I travel and easily keep up with this healthy regimen. I don't want to be without it, and now I don't have to. I have found this product is much better priced per ounce compared to competitors. I did the math and it costs the same as if I bought fresh celery, so I'm not losing money using the powder either. This is my third order and I will keep ordering!

It definitely smells and taste like celery. I tried mixing it with water but had a hard time drinking it so I’m just going to add it to capsules and take to every morning. The quality of the powder is definitely good too.
