I purchased this orbital to save my shoulders by having to wax to cars, a large pickup truck and midsize SUV. I like the different variations of speed doesn't seem to heat up much. I did drop it on the floor by mistake not a single scratch on it and kept right on working.

well i used this yesterday to buff the wax off my 18 foot boat. It works as advertised. I like that it gave you extra cloth pads for the buffing wheel. I also like the longer cord. As mentioned only used once and so far so good. I dont use a buffer a lot so did not want to invest a ton of money into one, this was priced right!

I must admit this is a surprisingly good little buffer. So far I've used it on one of our cars, and it made the job much easier. I have another car to do detail and am confident this little buffer will make that job that much earier as well. The pads that come with it are not going to last for to long so expect to order additional pads as you do your projects. So far it's a darn good machine. Our cars are in good shape so the load put on the buffer was more polishing than "rubbing out" defects. Works well for applying polishing and buffing off the wax.Speed control is very handy and easy to use. It is light weight which a nice feature.

Just finished ceramic coating two cars, this buffer/polisher worked great. Very easy to hold and use even with one hand The variable speed was a bonus. Light weight and very user friendly. Good cord length too. Both cars looked like new. Used medium speed . Well worth the money!

Not impressed with the durability of this buffer. I understand it is a bit cheaper but it fell apart upon waxing the third vehicle. One full size truck, one small suv and fell apart upon waxing another truck. Bearing became extremely hot and the buffing pad began wobbling upon starting the third vehicle. When I stopped the buffing pad fell off as shown in the picture. Incapable of repairing as the connection point is worn down and sloppy.Another point on this unit, the variable speed switched failed during the second use but by this point it was already behind return period.

Replaced my buffer with this buffer. I’m happier with this than the other buffer. The adjustable speeds made everything smooth and easier.

the orbiter works pretty well for spreading car wax but none of the "polishing" bonnets would effectively pick up the car wax or create a shine ... the speed control seems helpful when spreading car wax but not much difference in trying to polish and leave a shine ... the manual emphasizes that a liquid car wax is preferable over a paste, however, i found the best results using a car wax paste where the polishing bonnet would at least pick up most of car wax and leave a shine ... still had to use a towel to pick up some car wax for polish and shine
