Good value for money spent
The media could not be loaded. Updated to include the big one and added a video, so far as I've seen these guys are Rock Solid. Comes with an extra heating element, fuses, and small tools package to work on it.So far using it on the torch down seams, but with the way it's working I know it will work just as good with PVC and TPO.Below review is the old one for the handheld heat guns which by the way I haven't even had to change out a heat element on in the last two months of solid work daily!!Shipped fast and arrived unharmed, well packaged.It is a little work horse, I am going to buy this in the future, works as good as a leister, gets hot fast and stays steady. Been going with it since It arrived and it is a stable little beast.Will be buying a dozen more of these for the crew, at this price they are practically disposable.Far cheaper to buy a replacement then muck about with the leister send and wait repairs.

It welds tpo
Fired it up to do some test welds and noticed that it gets hot . With the leister, I weld tpo on 7, with this welder I'm putting down great welds on 4.. let it cool all the way down before turning off.. damn good welder for the price.

Heat control is not stable at all
Unfortunately, the temperature control is all over the place. Seems like a well made tool, but if the temperature can't be reliably set, all it does is either make cold welds or burn the membrane.

Reasonably priced hot air gun with a couple issues
Used the 40mm head for joining sheets of BTL RPE liner. Process was a bit difficult to get right for the thin liner I had (occasional burnt hole, or weak bond), but I do not think that this was a fault of the gun itself. Overall this hot air gun was easy to use and seemed robust (see power plug exception below).Deducted one star as the product arrived with a faulty power plug which worked only intermittently. Deducted another star for the instructions which were written in very broken English.
