LymanTurbo Sonic Gun Parts Cleaning Solution 16oz

This Lyman Turbo Sonic Gun Parts Cleaning Solution works far better at removing fouling and grime than any other solution we have tried in our heated sonic cleaner in my small gun shop. We take a lot of "trade ins" and a lot of the time they have not been properly cleaned by the owner before they are brought in to my shop (hint: we will generally offer more for clean well maintained firearm than for a dirty questionable one).This solution is a concentrate and a little goes a long way. We have not tried it on a polymer frame or parts since the instructions advise against it, but it works wonders on all the steel and other metal parts. It also has not noticeably removed the finish on any of the parts, which was a small concern on some of the older guns we cleaned.Overall, I am very pleased and will order more when this is all used up.Highly Recommended!CFH

I use this every time I clean my guns. It makes short work of my cleaning time and does a good job.

Works great with my sonic cleaner, i use this to clean brass cases and it worked very well. Will buy again.

I bought this for cleaning metal pistol and rifle parts in my Ultrasonic cleaner. I fill the cleaner with over 2 liters of water, and drop in a tablespoon of this cleaner. I dropped in my pistol uppers/barrels/springs/etc for 16 minutes, and the result was awesome. Much cleaner than just wiping them down. Some things to note:1: It won't necessarily clean the inside of your barrels completely, but it will break up the fouling, making them easy to wipe out.2: You are cleaning metal, with a water based solution. Make sure to 100% dry and them lubricate every single part. Rust is a bad thing.3: A little goes a long way, don't use too much.4: don't use with aluminum5: probably not necessary to clean your guns this way every time, but good for the occasional deep clean.

Although I follow normal Glock oiling, et al, the basic cleaning is a snap and gets dirt from nooks and crannies easily. Especially great for cleaning magazines. I use the ounce to 40 ounces in my ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight.

Worked as it should

I use this cleaner in my ultrasonic cleaner to clean my pistols. Works really well and the parts come out completely clean. I still have to use the wire brush in the barrel to get it completely clean, but 99% of the work is done in the ultrasonic cleaner with the cleaning solution.

I have used better cleaning solutions at a fraction of the cost. This works pretty good but is costly

This product cleans immaculately to preclude taking apart time-consuming tasks like trigger assemblies with little pieces everywhere.It is odorless which is great for asthmatics like me.It cleans so well I shall use it in rifles to get the basic crud out prior to using a odorless bore foam.Plus it leaves a gentle lube.I would give it 6 stars if I could!!!Ted Brockie Fort Frances Canada

Excellent product and service. Bought 2 bottles of 16 Fluid Oz seeing that the gallon jug is in the process of being restocked. Highly recommend the product.
