Plenty of light
I like all of the features of this light. The mounting was easy. The rotating design makes it easy to aim the light. The only issue is not knowing what size batteries this light takes. The specification say "batteries not included".The video shows 4 batteries but does not say what size they are.I had to order 4 C-cells after I received the light.

One of my best home improvement!
I used a super-strong double-stick tape (Gorilla tape) to secure this to the outside of my front door, just above it, and it's held strong for months with no problems. I like that the light is on a swivel so you can adjust it as necessary. The light is sensitive enough to pick up motion from a few feet away but not overly sensitive so it doesn't go off all the time with the slightest movement. It's perfect for when I need to see the keypad on the front door when it's dark.

Long-lasting battery, low profile
We love this. Batteries last well over a year, provides just the right amount of light. Had one for a few years and then bought 3 more for additional spaces. I prefer solar light so I don’t have to use batteries which are bad for the environment, but where we needed these don’t get much light and it’s also nice that they are very low profile, unlike solar lights. Also easier installation.

Solid motion spot light. Can be tape mounted. Wished there was more angle adjustment.
I put this light above an entrance since the angle my porch light is at doesn't actually light up the door. Works well for what I need. The stuff that works for me:While no tape is provided, you can still use double sided tape to mount it. With the 4x required C-cell batteries, the total weight is just under 1lb (~15.5oz). The mounting bracket is 4inchs wide. So just the white foam indoor double sided tape is strong enough to hold it up. I choose to use indoor tape to minimize damage to the paint in case I ever needed to remove it.The light is bright enough for me. It's not a super bright safety spotlight that one would use for a garage driveway but it's about perfect for just lighting up the doorway.I did take the light apart to see the weather proofing. There is a silicone seal between the battery compartment and the main circuit board. However, the batter compartments themselves are not sealed. I would expect the battery compartments to not be waterproof but overall, it should be reliable if not directly exposed to rain. As a door light that's already sheltered by the porch, this is fine for me. Not so great if you are putting it completely out in the open. The things I wish were different:When mounted on a vertical wall with the angle adjustment allows you to face it directly forward or downwards up to about a 45deg angle. However, the motion detection cone is pretty large so mounting it this way lets it cover quite a bit of distance. This may be good for people that want a long distance spot light (but this light really isn't bright enough for that). I instead mounted it under the door frame so that it faced either downwards or 45deg forwards. To limit the motion detection, I had to face it almost completely downwards.I would have preferred the mount to allow for 0+/-45deg instead of only 0-45deg. I had to make some minor modifications to the mount to have it fit under my door frame and rotate the opposite direction instead of pointing inside the house.Final verdict:Overall, it works for what I need it to be but it's not perfect.Pros:- fairly bright single LED (but not a super bright spot light)- can be mounted with removable double sided tape.- motion detection is consistent and reliableCons:- motion detection can be too sensitive and may not match the light coverage that you want- angle adjustments is more limited than it needs to be- really only weather resistant and not fully water proof

Motion sensor light
Worthless!!Put this light in my laundry room for my cats to use the litter box. Can't get it to work!Managed to set it to come on for a human "once in a while" when someone walks past the door.Never buy again. Piece of crap!

Nice suttle illumination
It is just what we needed for illuminating our side walk and front door without being too bright

Eats batteries
This thing is bigger than you think. It uses C cell batteries, four of them, that should give you the idea of its size. There are two on each side and so I thought if I disconnected one side I could leave it powered off. But no, it drained the other two batteries in a very short amount of time. There is no power switch by the way.
