I gotten it by mail yesterday. I have a late 70's Brother which I use quite often for my correspondents mainly. I had to try it out the moment I put it on without reaching for my typewriter papers...I typed on a card. Very strong color and yet just like the good old ribbons! It's a high quality product with the plastic case used even on my 70's typewriter machine. I tried also to set it inside my 30's Remington which works, too. But my 30's Remington needs a yellow colour too in the ribbon and is hard to find....Now With the ribbon on my Brother I can see the difference from that ribbon to others. That one indeed fits many machines. So you won't be disappointed. Also - I personally feel I prefer to purchase Product from one Company that did not disappoin me. Well so - I will be purchasing the NeXT ribbons from them too. A '5' star Product for a very good price!

I bought a pair of these ribbons to install on my old typewriters, and they arrived on time and suitably packaged to prevent the ink leaking or getting dry.Both of my typewriters use older reel systems that weren't compatible with the plastic spools provided, but I was aware of this going in and it was pretty easy to install them on the old hardware. They fit nicely on the old Remington clip system (1936 Remington Noiseless Portable, the first two pictures), and I also wound one onto the smaller metal spools of a 1941 Imperial Good Companion Model T. The plastic ones are physically too big for the Imperial machine, but the ribbon length is still spot on since the old Imperial reels are thinner on the inside (see the third picture for the full length of reel wound onto one spool). I'd definitely say if you have metal spool and don't want to replace them with the plastic, buy this product for the ribbon and then look up a video on how to re-thread old spools. It's worth it to keep the old look with a fresh new supply of ink!The ink is suitably dark and I haven't had any issues with colour bleeding thus far. If anything, the ink is even darker on the Imperial because the Noiseless has an arresting mechanism that slows down the keys before they strike. I'd already been through the reel once before typing out the pictures, so what you're seeing is the second pass and not even the ink at its freshest!Overall I'm quite satisfied with these ribbons and will probably buy more if my old ones run out or if I expand my typewriter collection.TL;DR: Works well on old machines, would recommend.

It does what it is supposed to and the ink stamps relatively clean.However, if you're using a vintage Underwood, it is smaller in width than the original inks and will cut your capital letters in half, so you have to switch to the red ink option to get a black ink capital letter to fully stamp out. Otherwise, it works well.Note to manufacturer: if possible, increase the ribbon width by about 1mm.

The Ink ribbon shipped quickly and works perfectly in my Royal Typewriter. It was easy to install but I appreciated that they contacted me with instructions and said to reach out to them if I need any help. Seems like a great company with great customer service. I also appreciate that this is a small American company. Next time I need Ink, I'll buy it from them again.

Ribbons are very primed and proper.The black and red strike really well and the spools are universal so they fit very well.The end stop grommet is also affixed nicely and drags the reversal arm nicely.Overall a high quality ribbon and serves it's purpose perfectly.Only critique I have is that the red and black center seam is blurry creating ambiguity when using the underscore, but that is something fairly common in ribbons and could just be the strike angle of my "6" key.

The ribbons have plenty of ink and should last a long time.

Cleaned and restored an old Olympia SM2. This fit perfectly. Nice dark type in red and black. Good value and works well for this project
