This item is not adhesive. The product literature makes this clear. You get 5 5x5cm meshes infused with iodine. The product is messy so becareful when you are applying this mesh because you don’t want to spoil your clothes. The product works by applying to the affected area. As a male it was under the left breast where I had a massive infection that had werupted. You need to cover this with either another plaster or as I did with gauze and the held in place with plasters. When you come to changing the mesh you will know it has worked as the mesh turns white in colour.. Pros Good infection control in areas that an ordinary plaster might work and where you need something known to fight infections. Lasts most of the day. Cons Just the price per plaster is about £1 plus some pennies so a little expensive. In my case I had used creams and ointments with an antibiotic in them but they didn’t seem to work on me. I used the first one on Sunday as another eruption in the area broke out so I made sure to place the mesh in the newly infected area. Before I went to bed I changed the mesh and by Monday I was able to use the antibiotic creams better to clear my infection. This is a personal experience and not a guide on how to use these plasters nor is it medical advice. I was advised by the dermatologist that iodine drys out the wound and should give it a go. I looked iodine and you can see bottles of the stuff but I came across these meshes which were a lot easier to use.

Whilst they still arrived on time and the exact item I wanted I wasn’t expecting them loose like they’d come out of a much bigger box rather than the box of 5 I ordered. But it was the correct product

Used cut out bits of this to help dress a gaping wound I had on my hand, which healed perfectly. Absolutely keeping some of these in my first aid box.
