These hinges are designed to hold things in position. I needed these for my recliner. They were an exact match to the old ones. 5 stars.

Been using on an artist pochade box. Little disappointed with a little wiggle play, but it’s not the end of the world. But they are pretty stiff. It was these or the plastic adjustable ones… I got these for the size they were. And yes they’re heavy metal… should outlast the box, my art, and my body.
