I put new soles on my character shoes recently, and my shoemaker said I should use a metal brush on them after each time I wear them. This brush is perfect, it worked great - I wish I had known about this years ago- it works for shoes with dancers leather soles, or ballroom soles. Worked on my ballet shoes as well. This product is obviously not designed to last a lifetime. However, for the price, it doesn't have to. The wires are sharp and effective, requiring only very light pressure. The leatherette cover is a welcome addition, since sharp wire brushes don't otherwise travel very well.

Quite pleased with this little brush. Got my dance shoe soles super clean. The leather flap can be removed, if desired. This is a nice brush to throw in your bag for emergencies.

Didn't know how to take Carr of music suede sole dance shoes. Shoes stopped having original traction. Looked this up, bought it, and it works! Able to do my turns again!

OK product, the cover does not fit well, slides to expose the brush.

This works really well to brush the soles of my dance shoes. I likes that it has a cover for the steel bristles to keep them from sticking me when I put my hand in my shoe bag. Highly recommend.

This product is working wonders for my tap shoes. Couldn’t understand why I felt the floors to be slippery. Looked between the crevices of the tap plate and the sole of the shoe and lots of grime has built up. Used it and class wasn’t as slippery. I don’t think this is the answer to all slippery floors in tap class but it does help. I use it regularly and is kept in my tap shoes bag!
