Lightweight and comfortable. Easily fits under CPAP headgear
Lightweight and comfortable. Easily fits under CPAP headgear. Adjustable tension. I wanted something light enough to just keep my chin from dropping open when I sleep. This works well with my pillow face mask and keeps my mouth closed without feeling confined. It probably needs to be replaced every few months due to its lightweight design, but for me it’s worth it for the comfort.

Does not stretch, whatsoever.
It says "neoprene," and looks a lot like the genuine Resmed neoprene strap that I bought some time ago. But, unlike the Resmed strap, the Snuggle strap is totally inelastic. The instructions say, "We recommend that an assistant with the initial fitting of your chinstrap to ensure proper fit." I don't believe that would help. I very carefully adjusted the length using the velcro. To be effective it needs to be tight. But, then it is very uncomfortable, and still doesn't stay put. Loosening it just slightly makes it totally ineffective, and of course, then it doesn't stay put either. Seems to me these just used the wrong kind of neoprene material. Also, the "hard" side of the velcro closure it very stiff.

More comfort
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good quality, although it seems high-priced for what it is. Covers less of your skin than others, which I feel is a plus. You can adjust it yourself in a mirror. For those of us who have beards, none of these devices are super comfortable. This one is less uncomfortable than any other I've tried.

Works but is just so so
I didn’t expect it to be perfect since it’s just one strap but my upside down sleep eye mask works better and is softer. This works but you have to get it just right. Plus the material is not very soft. I will keep using it because I cannot handle the bigger ones.

CPAP help
Tried a couple different ones of these. I’m getting used to using a CPAP and this is very comfortable and really helps.

Grossly over priced and delaminates after two months
This Snugell chin strap lasted about two months before it delaminated. It fit my head fine and stayed in position. But by comparison, my first neoprene chin strap from a different manufacturer(don't' know who) lasted almost a year before delaminating. The Snugell chin strap is also SO grossly over priced. For $16 there should be at least two chin straps. The neoprene and Velcro material costs about $1.46. Typical price gouging for a near "medical device".

Works great!
I love my CPAP machine and cannot sleep without it. However, when I fall asleep my mouth flops open and my mouth gets very dry. I tried the chin strap from my CPAP clinic and it was a joke! It was too large, wide and just did not work at all. This chin strap is low profile and comfortable and keeps my jaw firmly secured when I fall asleep. It also does not interfere with my face cushion, I still have a tight fit with no air leakage, which I was concerned about. No more dry mouth with this chin strap! This is a very good product!

Cheaply Made
The picture on-line did not really show the entire chin strap. Rather than just a standard design this one had an added strap that goes behind you head. This design tends to pull the chin strap into your ears which is very uncomfortable. I have used it for about two weeks and the lining under the chin is already coming loose and doesn't stay inthe proper place to cushion your chin. I having been using a CPAP for over ten years and have tried a lot of different chin straps. By their very nature, chin straps aren't totally comfortable, but this one is at the bottom of a list of all the different ones I've tried over the years. It is also starting to come apart where the adjustment tabs to tighten or loosen are by your ear. I know reviews of items like this or subjective but being a long term user can say this one is among the poorest made and worse of all it doesn't really hold your mouth shut. I'll be going back to my old Resmed Chin Straps, at least they last longer than two weeks.
