This product works great. THIS IS NOT A PHONE LINE SPLITTER! This works 2 ways it is for taking 2 separate phone numbers running on one prone line and dividing each phone number onto two separate phone lines (1 phone number per exiting phone cord) Or the second way .. if you have a phone that has 1 port for 2 separate phone numbers this will take 2 phone lines with 2 separate numbers on them and it puts both phone numbers on a single phone line. That's the simplest terms I can put it in. It looks like the similar product that takes 1 phone number and allows you to have that 1 phone number on 2 separate phone cords...but again...this is not that! This does exactly what it says it does.

Hard to find adapter that breaks out the 4-wire connection at the wall mounted modular jack to two 2-wire phone line connections IF your location is wired for 2 telephone lines. I use this to combine my 2 SIP-phone ATA's that deliver my internet 2 phone line service to a 4-conductor modular connector for 2-line phones that have a single 2x 2-pair connectors. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you don't need this.
