A very useful aid to getting in and out of the vehicle. I have recommended it personally to a few of our friends who also have reached the age of needing a hand.They too have bought them and are finding it an excellent aid.

The media could not be loaded. This appears to be a well-made item which is very similar to the 'branded' one also available on Amazon at a slightly higher price (I wasn't interested in the cheaper one as that looked less robust...).I find it difficult to give a fair rating as I've had to return it as totally unsuitable, yet unlike some consumers [who leap for the one star and a tirade of abuse] I am loathe to paint a negative picture as it would certainly suit some...The issue is quite simply the size and hence suitability of the striking catch. In my case (a Kia Niro) it is too large [vis-a-vis the handle] and so the aid simply wobbles about, which is no way to reassure and give stability to [in my case] my 95 year old mother. (On a positive note I was happy it wouldn't scrape the paintwork around the locking plate!)To be fair the distributors give detailed dimensions and a list of cars for which they have discovered it's unsuitable, but what in my view would be more informative - at least for those customers who are prepared to research their purchases as carefully as I try to - is to give a range of dimensions for the 'U'-shaped catch for which it DOES suit. (There are so many vehicles on the market that any list - whether by way or inclusion or exclusion - is likely to be incomplete, unless of course manufacturers always keep to the same size (which I doubt), in which case the list would be more manageable).Needless to say, if you are hoping that this (or any comparable aid) would fit more than one car then, unless the striking bolt is the same size on each, it probably won't!

Can be used in 2 positions. It is used everyday by a relative to get in and out of the car. Without it, it would be very difficult to make him sit in the car.Functions: seat handle, window breaker and seatbelt cutter
