[Joyoung DJ10U-K1] Fully Automatic and Self Cleaning Soy Milk Maker (Coffee Brown)

A Chinese friend recommended this machine and I bought it because my husband drinks soy milk everyday. I was worried because factory made soy milk always had preservatives, too much sugar and made out of gmo. As I use the machine, no need to worry about them anymore. Its soy milk tastes warm, fresh and clean. I love it. It’s def helpful for health for sure. I got a better digestion after drinking home made soymilk everyday. I highly highly recommend it.

I was really excited about this machine, after reading all the positive reviews. However, after putting it together and running a deep clean session I realized the inner compartment where the “magic” happens, is made of low grade plastic. This area is exposed to hot steam, and I don’t know about you but I don’t want to be drinking microplastics! It reeked of plastic after the deep clean session. I’d expected better from a machine that cost ~$450. Is it really hard to substitute it with a better material? Say stainless steel??

Before buying this I tried the Chefwave machine which I wanted to love, but although it made great milk (I made exactly one cup with each of the two defective machines I had), the select button on both machines didn't work and one malfunctioned. I sent them back and ordered this. WOW -easy to use, absolutely no mess, and the soy milk is the very best I have ever had--it's not like the American stuff you find in the grocery store. It is more like the freshly made one you find in the Asian markets. But you can make jook (congee) with it (I haven't tried that yet but will soon), juice, and all kinds of mixed milks. I made a walnut soy milk that was incredible. If you buy this machine, stock up on your soybeans, cashews, almonds, walnuts,,sesame seeds, and oats. I feel like I could just live on nutmilks now lol. HIghly recommended.

This product did his job! I don’t need to clean the machine anymore! One cons is the machine only making hot beverages and price is a little bit high. But still a great product!

Mine stopped working after a few months and I do not know if I can repair. Please advise

Got this for my sister's bday. She loves it! We've been having fresh soymilk almost everyday so far :) Easy to clean and operate.

The media could not be loaded. Completely disgusted, it been used! And is still dirty!
