Birkenstock Women's Gizeh Birko-Flor Flip Flops

Birkenstocks are always one size too big for me, this is the second model I've tried where I needed to purchase one size smaller than usual (I got a 5 but I usually wear a 6). The shoe itself is great. Fantastic arch and toe support, resistant material, and I love the colour. I have used them intensively this summer and they have been through dust, water, sea mist... After cleaning they always get back to looking new. It does take a couple of days to break them in, but once you do the fit is snug and comfortable.

These are brilliant shoes, I live in them still (a year later). However, it took that long for them to be worn in and become comfortable. At first, i found them really uncomfortable, and after a days wear would have blisters beginning to form on the soles of my feet. I did some research and found this is common, and so decided to persevere, and i'm so glad i did. It took several months of wearing them a couple days, giving my feet a break, starting again, but by the beginning of this summer they were the most comfortable shoes i have ever owned. It is so true that they mold to your feet. Where they first felt hard, they now feel soft and comfortable. Give them time, and you'll love them.

These have to be the comfiest, best fitting and supportive 'flip flops' type sandal I've ever worn. They feel well made, look it, and are a great addition to any summer wardrobe. They aren't over heavy, don't slop about on your feet while walking so your calfs and feet don't ache trying to keep them on.

I have some other Birkenstocks in this style and find them very comfortable. I have collapsed arches and these are the only flip flops that do not cause me foot or knee pain to walk in as they are so supportive. My other Birkenstocks took a while to get used to wearing before they became comfortable, but these were instantly wearable, probably because I am used to the fit. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because they were a little baggier than my other pair (although they are the same size and style) and I needed to put another hole in the strap. The toe post also doesn't feel quite as comfortable but I was pleased with the colour and look of the sandal. These are much cheaper online than on the High Street so well worth ordering.

Great sandals at a good price

These are the most comfortable summer sandals, I had an imitation pair before these which I always thought were fine, but now that I have the real thing I realise these are just streets ahead. I can walk for hours in them. I bought the 38 M EU, I take a size 5½, yet the 38 is the perfect length and have a B to C width fitting, so narrow to standard and the M width fitting is just right, as you need to ensure that the foot is nicely enclosed all the way around by the raised edging that the Gizeh has. I would agree with other reviewers that it is worth trying some on before ordering them. I bought the Mocca colour which is a great neutral colour which goes with everything.

In love with them. I’ve been wearing them a couple of hours a day to help mould to my feet. Comfy from the get go. I even walked the dog in them. I have not experienced any blisters yet either. I’m a size 5 usually and I ordered these in a 4 and they fit perfectly. I have loosen the strap up top so that they are not too tight. Once completely comfortable I may tighten up. Just don’t want the leather to stretch too much ( just in case) I’m completely satisfied with my Birkenstock’s

Just received my new pair of Gizeh sandals, size 37 and am really pleased. They are my first pair of this style, my other 3 pairs not having the toe piece so was apprehensive as to how they would feel - I should not have worried. I am a size 5.5 (38.5) and these fit very snugly as i have found, as others, that sizing down a little can sometime be better. (this depends on the style i think) I have had problems with my ankle tendon and now need a more supportive shoe for walking and these fit the bill exactly, providing great support both under my foot and also holding my foot firmly to ensure that I don't twist my ankle over on uneven ground which i am prone to do. All in all brilliant.

These are beautiful, very comfortable, and well worth the price. Unlike some bejeweled knock offs, these are real birkenstocks! I wore them all day right out of the box.

I’ve been searching for the Gizeh’s in Dress Blue (patent) for a while now .. every time i find them, they’re sold out! As soon as I found them here, I took a chance and ordered them and they’re absolutely perfect!! I compared them side by side with my other blue patent Birk’s (Arizona style) and they’re exactly the same .. I was worried these might be knockoffs but I believe these are the real deal .. also, they came in the original box .. They’re perfect and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you so much!!!

This item look used, footprint on footbed and not in original packaging. Straps mis-aligned. Footbed dirty.

Love the shoe though a little stiff

I love Birkenstock sandals and these did not disappoint.
