Q: do these work on doors? or can you only see them if they are on a window & a light is on?

I used mine on two glass doors in the backyard, but I still had to turn the light on in the backyard.

Q: We have dark tinted windows. Will trick o treaters be able to see it if we taped it on the outside of the windows?

I don’t think so! The light really makes it appear and when the light is off you can’t see it in the dark

Q: My window meadures 24" wide..will this ve ok and not cut part of the letters?

Measures 30"W x 60"H. So yes it would cut off your letters!

Q: Do these stick to the outside of the window or the inside?

They really don't cling. We have ours hung off of the window header on the inside.
