Works as it should. Shipping was not prime fast, even though it was listed as such. No stores in area had 8 ft hose in stock so Amazon for the win. Easy to install, but did need a better quality clamp to attach to washer as it leaked with the one included.

Product is sturdy and provided the extra plastic tube hold for the drain. This is nice as you can secure it and avoid the risk of it coming out. The product can be cut down to fit different appliance makes and models.

I own a Magic Chef washing machine Model MCSTCW16W3. This is my 2nd purchase of this hose. The 1st purchase we had a hard time tightening the clamp around the very thick hose end, which we cut to the one inch option. The clamp didn't tighten sufficiently, but it was enough for us to use the hose...nervously. Because the hose is wider than manufacturer's hose, we couldn't replace the cap that snaps into machine where the draining hose is threaded. Because of that, due to friction, the hose started tearing and leaking/flooding and was unusable.I didn't want to buy this hose again, but upon finding the hose is no longer available by manufacturer, I reluctantly purchased it again. We cut the hose end to the specified one inch area, according to directions, and it was too big to the point that the clamp couldn't tighten anywhere near tight enough. The clamp doesn't even tighten down to the necessary one inch or tighter. This hose was totally useless and a total waste of money!If you have the same washing machine, you need Midea drain hose 12138000009813. It fits perfectly and is exactly the same as the original hose that came with this machine. You can find it online. I got mine at Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc.Hope this helps!

I wrote a previous review for this product but wanted to change my rating. I now feel it is at least a 3 and possibly a 4 star. It was easy to install. Most difficult was the cuting off a couple of inches so it would fit on the spot that discharges the water from the machine. It seems to work fine. From what I can see all of these drain hoses look and work the same.

I purchased this hose because of positive reviews from other people. They were right, this is a good"flexible soft but strong hose". It easily fits my pump discharge and works great. I had bought another brand that was hard black plastic and it lasted "1 month" before cracking. "PEOPLE" BUY THIS ONE, you will be making a good decision

I dont like having to write a negative review, but hopefully someone will see it and save themselves the trouble we have had with not just 1, but 2 of these hoses. The 1st hose developed a crack within 8 months, and leaked water all over the floor of my laundry room. Thinking perhaps it was a fluke, I ordered another hose. HUGE MISTAKE! The quality of the 2nd hose hose was even worse! Within 4 months, even more water was leaking from under the washer than with the 1st hose! After mopping up water for 20 minutes, and running fans all night, AGAIN, investigation showed the new hose had 3 (yes, 3) cracks in it! My honest review is to give this hose 0 Stars. :( But in order for the review to post, I had to give it at least 1. But it's not worth 1.
