They look like great hooks, and I would have kept them if I had another use for them, but the eye looked too small to fit 50 # mono dropper loop through. Since that's what I use for a leader, I had to return them. Instead purchased Dr. Fish Octopus Circle Hooks which have a much larger eye.

I'm using them in tide water fishing for redfish and spotted sea trout. They're more than strong enough. I chose them in part because they do corrode (meaning they will quickly rust away if I have to leave them in a deeply hooked fish). Kept dry, that corrosivity has not been a problem in my tackle bag.

These are far too small to be 1/0 Hooks. I will still use them, I had to go to the local Sporting Goods store to buy some that were the actual size. Chinese Hooks appear to run small.

Great value and great quantity can’t be more pleased with this purchase. As you can see they held up to this 31” 13LB Lingcod I used this hook on a sliding snell rig with a treble at the end.

First, look at the pictures of the product as listed on Amazon. Then, look at the picture I uploaded. The bottom hook is what was received. As you can see, the shank is much shorter. The hooks above it are also 2/0s from a national retailer. The hooks this seller sent are smaller and made of thinner material. Sure don't look like 2/0 hooks to me. Amazon's great return policy to the rescue.
