If you want a drink that is not too sweet and a little earthy this is a good alternative to straight carrot or beet juice.

I couldn't wait to try this! First and foremost, yes, you can taste beets. But then the ginger and lemon kick in and it's Fun!It's a thin juice, not thick like tomato juice, and yes, it's red. I tried a half glass and really enjoyed it, so I poured some more. I'm having some right now!It's 70 cals per 8 oz, has 15 g total sugars but No added sugar. There's 190 mg sodium. The other benefits from this totally drinkable juice are iron, vitamin A, zinc, calcium, potassium, and vitamin C.Ingredients it lists are vegetable juice (filtered water and concentrated juices of beets, sweet potatoes, carrots), citric acid, natural flavoring (includes lemon and ginger extract), salt, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), beta carotene, zinc gluconateThis is 100% vegetable juice (from concentrate) it's great!

I could hardly taste the lemon part. It is very heavy on the beet taste. Still pretty good.

Tastes good, but watch the expiration dates on these. The batch I last received were only good for a few days.

Carrot and Ginger is an amazing flavor combination if you've never tried it. V8's version is enjoyable, however it almost completely lacks ginger, and has a strong undertone of sweet potato. In reading the ingredients, you'll see that sweet potato concentrate is the first ingredient.What I do is pour a glass of this, then add a dash of pure ginger juice (several companies sell it on amazon). If you're a ginger fan, I believe you'll find this juice to be lacking without that addition.This is classic 'big box' juice that was designed with the mainstream in mind. The sweet potato juice makes it sweeter and therefore more palatable for a lot of people. Its just a shame they don't include more ginger.
