Space Jam 20th Anniversary (Steelbook Combo) [Blu-ray]

This was one of my childhood favorites. My son now loves it and it’s a family oriented movie. No profanity or no weird stuff that you wouldn’t want your children seeing.

This is a classic. Love watching movies like this with my son to get him inspired to play sports.

Great product and very happy with purchase

I'm going to do two seprate reviews for this movie. One as an 8 year old, and one as a 22 year old.----------------------------------------CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS----------------------------------------8 Year Old review:Oh my goodness! This movie is amazing! This is what I really want to do in the future. Be like Michael and play a game with bugs and daffy and everybody else. This is my future and I won't change it at all! 5/522 Year Old Review:What can I say? After 14 years, my "dreams" never came true. Sorry, off topic.Space Jam take place around the time where Michael decided that it was time to retire from the sport that is basketball. After a long career, he turns his eyes on baseball. Aliens from Moron Mountain needed a new attraction to keep customers coming, so they figure a logical thing to do is kidnap a popular group called the loony tunes. Upon arrival, they aren't taken seriously until a gun fries Yosemite Sam. Bugs and his partners challenge them to a game of basketball do a rule that "they must be given a chance to defend themself". The small aliens don't know what the game is, so they're shown a short clip on what the game is and the basic rules. Upon learning that it's played in real life earth, the aliens go there and steal the talents of 5 NBA players. When "warming up" for the big game, the toon squad are in fear when the aliens get all big and buffed. Fearing for what might happen to them, they kidnap Michael while playing golf by making him a hole-in-one. They plea with him to play, but Michael insists that he plays baseball. After seeing the competition, he agrees to play, but has no gear to practice with. So bugs and daffy go to his home and grab it. Game day comes, and the toons have a rough time in the 1st half. After drinking some water, or shall we say "Michael's secret stuff", they play like a boss the second half to win freedom. Micheal goes back to give the talents back to the 5 NBA players and then he, himself, comes out of retirement play some more.The only real thing that I would have to complain about this movie is that I would like to see both squads practicing for the game. I would like to check out what they did in order to prepare for this big moment.Very solid movie, would watch over and over again.

Versendet wird das gute Stück sicher in 2 Amazon Kartons, sodass dem Steelbook definitiv nichts passieren kann.Das Steelbook ist matt gehalten bis auf die Looney-Tunes diese sind alle glänzend gehalten.Das Steelbook ist nicht dünn, sondern wirklich aus hochwertigem Material verarbeitet.Was Warner Bros wohl nie hinbekommt ist, dass diese Klebepopel an der J-Card fast nicht abzubekommen ist (also ich bekomme diese nie ab).Man kann doch definitiv 2 Klebestreifen dranmachen und gut ist hält dann auch und lässt sich gut ablösen.Die Bly-Ray-Disc ist komplett schwarz gehalten mit Sternen (wie das Weltall haha) und ein gelbes FSK 6 Logo.Der Innendruck ist wahrhaftig eine Schönheit, wirklich schöner Druck mit einem guten Bild aus dem Film (Michael Jordan mit der Trinkflasche Michael's secret stuff. Nach so viel Lob kommt dann das Negative. Im Innendruck wurden die Credits aufgeführt. Warum zum Teufel macht man die überhaupt noch irgendwohin???Zum Film brauche ich nicht wirklich viel sagen, da jeder ja diesen Film kennt und auch viel darüber schon gesprochen wurde.Wer diesen Film noch nicht kennt schaut ihn euch an er ist wirklich eine Filmperle.Bei diesem Film lasse ich mich heute Abend nochmal verzaubern und mich in meine Kindheit zurückversetzen.
