Okay
Okay product, not certain it's authentic olaplex as it did something strange to my hair. But nonetheless it did lessen the orange in my hair so that's something.

Olaplex purple shampoo
I have been lightening my hair over the last 4 years and recently (maybe due to the sun?) it looks yellow after about 4 washes. Maybe it’s the toner not being permanent I don’t know, not a stylist.I’ve used Olaplex for years and love it so thought I’d finally give this shampoo a try.Not only is it HIGHLY pigmented but it’s a thin/watery formula. A little goes a long way!I washed my hair as usual then did a wash with this product and it completely stained my hands that it took 4 washes with a scrub to remove it. It was on my hair for no more that 90 seconds as it was my first use I wanted to see what the effects were before leaving on for the recommended time. After rinsing, conditioner and then leave in conditioner I was shocked at how beautifully soft and manageable my hair was. It removed all the brassiness and left my hair feeling amazing. I will continue my regimen of only using this shampoo twice per month as I only put treatment’s in twice per month as I feel my hair isn’t dry or damaged (even with the lightening by my stylist) it even left me feeling like it doesn’t need hydration/moisture/repair treatments. I use function of beauty shampoo and conditioner once per week and alternate with Olaplex.Whenever I do use this in the future I’ll definitely use no3 and no5 to maintain my length, colour and strength of my hair. Not only does it smell amazing but it’s a different scent to the rest of the Olaplex line and I love that.Cannot recommend enough as it’s amazing. Buyer beware though use gloves so you don’t stain your hands and remove from skin around your hairline as soon as you can.

Best purple shampoo
Have tried various purple shampoos, this is definitely the best, takes all the brassy look out of coloured blonde hair.

Olaplex No. 4P Review: The Ultimate Blonde Rescue Shampoo
As someone who's constantly battling brass and maintaining my blonde highlights, I've tried countless purple shampoos - but Olaplex No. 4P has truly impressed me.Pros:Exceptional toning performance that neutralizes unwanted yellow and orange tones effectively. The purple pigment is perfectly balanced - strong enough to combat brassiness, but not so intense that it leaves a purple cast on the hair.True to Olaplex's reputation, this shampoo goes beyond just toning. It genuinely repairs and strengthens hair, which is crucial for chemically treated blonde hair that's prone to damage. The hydration factor is remarkable. Unlike many toning shampoos that can leave hair feeling dry and stripped, this formula maintains hair's moisture and softness.A little goes a long way - the 250ml bottle has impressive longevity, making it a cost-effective option despite the premium price point.Cons:The price is definitely on the higher end of hair care products. At around $30 for 250ml, it's an investment. Those with very light or very dark blonde hair might need to experiment with application time to get the perfect tone. The purple pigment can be slightly messy if you're not careful during application. What truly sets this apart is how it cares for hair health while toning. It's not just about appearance, but actually repairing and protecting blonde, lightened, and grey hair. The bond-building technology Olaplex is known for is evident in every wash.I recommend leaving it on for 3-5 minutes in the shower for optimal toning, and using it once or twice a week depending on your hair's needs. For anyone struggling with brassy tones or maintaining their blonde, this is a game-changer.A bit of a splurge, but absolutely worth every penny for those serious about hair care.

Love Olaplex
I love Olaplex hair products and this one is the best colour I’ve tried, bit more expensive but you only need the smallest amount, lasts ages, get what you pay for!

Highly recommended
I’ve always used Redken but it doesn’t seem to make my hair soft anymore. I moved to the UK 2 years ago and the water is extremely hard. I’ve tried numerous products but nothing seemed to work. Not even Redken. This product has been a life changer for my hair. I use the purple shampoo with every third wash and it word great. Highly recommend.

Definitely works BUT
My case is particularly bad because I dyed my hair red last year and it's been incredibly stubborn to get it out. I've had foils done on two separate occasions to cover it but it still shows through. Hence why I bought this product. So I didn't notice a difference after my first use, however it did make my hair feel wonderfully soft so I decided to take it on holiday with me. I started to notice a difference in the tone of my hair after using it 3 or 4 times, I was really pleased. However, a week into the holiday I got into a lift and my boyfriend asked me what the hell I'd done to my hair, the shampoo hadstained it quite severely, particularly the over processed bleached strands. It was particularly noticeable in certain lighting (the attached pic was taken mid-flight) including natural light.Thankfully, I managed to wash it out with my regular cheap shampoo when I got home, the stain faded and the toning effect remained which I was pleased with.I would consider repurchasing this product, i might see if I can separate out the bleached, over processed strands next time to avoid them being stained. The last pic was taken after I'd washed the stain out.
