I purchased these wooden spoons because they are Le Creuset and if the pots and pans are any indication, these should be excellent. Well as far as I am concerned, it does not matter since they are made in China, not France like I was expecting. You cannot find the country of origin unless you really search the packaging but in the end, it states made in China. Shame on LeCreuset.

Bought these because of recommendation on Serious Eats. Expensive, but I expect will last a long time, so I feel it's worth it. Feels great to handle and I find myself reaching for it all the time. Very versatile.

I've been using this wooden spoon for almost a year now and it's the best I've ever seen. The grain is still smooth with no signs of splitting, staining, or the grain becoming raised and fuzzy. It's also such a graceful looking spoon. Very comfortable to use. I don't put it in the dishwasher or leave it setting in water after use. I've treated it maybe once with John Boos Mystery Oil and Block Board Cream. I can see this lasting years. More than I can say about other wood spoons out there that struggle to survive more than a few months.
