Bestlaminate Visqueen 6Mil PE Vapor Barrier Block Film for Floating Flooring (750 sq.ft.)

Very easy to work with. I like that it is only 58” wide unfolded, so that I don’t have a lot of product in front of me and in the way. I used heavy duty clear boxing tape to seal the lapped edges together. Only used one roll of tape for all of the 750 square feet of poly. The see through poly is a big help so that I can still see the snapped chalk lines underneath. Best product I have used. Great price. Would buy every single time

I started off installing vinyl planks using an item purchased locally. I purchased this for the dollar value and am very pleased that the quality surpasses what I started off using. It feels better quality and lays nice and flat. Would recommend this for the quality and price.

This poly barrier works a lot better than the black stuff at Home Depot, which is folded up many times and needs a lot of cutting to fit unless you just have a large square room. I used this one to put over the concrete subfloor when putting down luxury vinyl plank flooring. The Visqueen is also folded, but only once, and so wrinkles a lot less with only one crease to worry about. I don’t like the crease the fold does make, though, so usually cut that out. It makes for more taping, but is less noisy. Overall, I don’t like using poly barrier under flooring because it always seems to wrinkle and can be hard to smooth out. That can make it a little noisy to walk on. If I had more even floors, I bet it would have been less of a problem, though. But, if you have to use a poly vapor barrier under your flooring, I do recommend the Visqueen.

This is the perfect product for moisture barrier. Like the thickness.Easy to handle!!

I bought it for my flooring project, it smells a little bit but it really is transparent with certain density. The handy men took the rest of the roll afterwards.

Has proven to be a great value. Does the job it is intended to do for a fraction of the price when buying similar products at Lowes or Home Depot. Easy to cut. Does take some patience when laying it out over 30 feet of floor. Recommend using a box of flooring to hold it in place on one end.

I didn't realize before buying that its only 6 feet wide. just means more seams.
