Score International: BAJA 1000 - Xbox 360

I searched around the internet looking for the best deal on this game for a couple of days. Im happy to say the best deal was RIGHT HERE ON AMAZON! This saved me alot of money. The game was 39.99+tax at best buy and can you believe it? Ebay was HIGHER than amazon. The best thing about it is it was BRAND NEW on here and it was used on ebay.

The game was shipped in multiple layers of bags. Not a big deal. After cutting my way threw all that, I grab the game to pull it out from all the plastic and I realized it wasn't a smooth surface like it should be. I dropped on my table. I used the wad of plastic bags to push the case into the light to see what was on the case. Some sort of reddish/brownish crusty/chunky substance was all over a good 1/4 of the game case. The picture I took was after I scrapped 99% off. I wish I had taken a pic 1st. I understand the goodwill gets lots of items regularly that has to be sorted and processed. But would it be too much trouble to clean things up before selling?The Baja 1000 is an awesome game. Can't go wrong with it!

I bought this for about $6 at Gamestop because I'm a big off road racing fan. I honestly don't think I've played a worse racing game than this. The challenge isn't beating the other racers or navigating the terrain, it's keeping the vehicle straight! I've never felt worse racing physics. Even with the better vehicles it feels like I'm driving on ice. I continuously spin out without explanation while driving straight on a flat straight part of the track at even low speeds. A racing game should not be this hard to control the vehicle. I don't even think about my lap time or the other racers because I have to use all my focus to stay on the track in the correct direction. It's shame too because the courses look great and this could be a good game if they developed functional driving. This has to be a 1 star rating even though the vehicle selection is cool as well as the tracks (although there are many to choose from). But if you can't get the basics of driving down it doesn't matter what else is in the game.

I bought this game because I didnt think that SCORE would endorse garbage...But they did. This game is filled with logical hang ups that ruin any amount of fun you might otherwise have. The tracks are almost identical and the AI is so aggressive it hurts. I am more of a Sim-Racer type and this is one of the worst overall games I have ever seen for the 360! Look closely at Baja-Edge of Control, It is what you should expect for a Baja Experience!

I didn't really like this game as it is too simplified and very animated, slow vehicles, etc, for my age. This would be an excellent game for those of age 13 and under as they would really like this.
