Hello all. I will keep this simple but sweet.This is a great battery charger. A quality product that is easy to operate.It put a full charge on all my different battery brands except for Sunbeam batteries & Energizer Industrial batteries. After finding this out, I would still buy it. 👍🏽👍🏽

This item/product works & functions as advertised by its manufacturer. However, it is very important to please carefully read & follow the instruction manual completely prior to using it. This unit recharges ALKALINE, NICKEL—CADMIUM (Ni—Cad) & NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE (Ni—Mh) batteries in “AA,” “AAA,” “C,” “D,” and also (only one at a time) 9–Volt batteries unless the batteries are nearly or totally dead. Then, you will have no choice but to replace the dead batteries with new ones. IMPORTANT: You will first need to carefully check the BATTERY SELECTOR SWITCH SETTING on top of the unit to make certain that the unit is properly set to recharge the CORRECT TYPE of batteries. NEVER “mix,” Alkaline, Nickel Metal Hydride or Nickel Cadmium batteries together in the unit. All batteries placed inside of it MUST be of the EXACT SAME TYPE when recharging them in order to avoid any damage to the unit, the batteries or both & thus voiding the unit manufacturer’s warranty. Please also be advised that there is still a small chance that at least SOME (Alkaline) batteries could still leak (or explode) while being recharged. Please carefully read the battery manufacturer’s warning labels on the batteries themselves for reference prior to recharging any Alkaline batteries. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchases of these units. I’m hoping that they will pay for themselves over time (by rotating & recharging the batteries) in terms of replacing any future dead batteries. I have been recharging all of my alkaline batteries to get the maximum life out of them using an old Rayovac charger that finally gave up.This new charger is very easy to use, and I like the fact that it shows you when the batteries are fully charged.

Recvied with a broken plastic lid but a little super glue fixed that. Charging AA alkaline batteries. Finding that it doesn’t charge all the way up on the first charge. Have to take out and let them sit awhile and then charge again. Did a great job on some lithium AA’s. The manual says that the LEDs are flashing red when inserting a dead battery for charging and green led when finished. My LEDs are just the opposite when charging alkaline batteries. It’s a bit hard to read the letters on the display that state the status of each charging bay. Could use a higher quality display. Doesn’t seem to charge 9v alkaline batteries. Had one plugged in and it doesn’t seem to gain any voltage output over a couple of hours.The real question is the battery re-charged to its original capacity? Time will tell. Otherwise decent Chinese quality.Update: As I was shutting down the charger to return to Amazon, the display panel went blank and no charging was taking place. I unplugged and repowered the unit with the red power led came on but the display was blank. Total failure of the charger. I would not recommend this charger.2nd Update. Recvd a replacement and within 4 hrs the 4th charging bay quit working. This is obviously a poorly made charger that no one should buy. Going for a refund.

It works as advertised. Be careful to read and follow directions about switching between battery types. It is easy to almost make a mistake (as i almost did, but remembered to change the chemistry switch before putting different battery type in). It doesn’t include AI, so you have to use your own intelligence!

It does what you said it would. I charged some low alkaline c and double a batteries went to full charge in no time flat and stopped all by itself. I would recommend this product on it's construction and performance.

Haven’t had it long but my wife used it and it does work on alkaline batteries we will have to wait to see how long they actually work and you’re able to recharge each one but it seems like a good deal.Update:Well we’ve used it a few times and it does what it says. we’ve recharged batteries multiple times.
