This french guy sings with real feeling. I heard him on a friends CD and had to have it for myself. In Europe they wanted 20 Euro or more. Found it on Amazon for a $1 or so. I was so enchanted by this man's voice I Googled him. Apparently he has been singing his heart out for over 40 years in France. He seems to be the Julio Iglesias of France.. Unlike a lot of French music, you can actually make out the French lyrics. The words are not all blurred together. I studied French years ago and can make out his words. Good Melody, don't know what he's saying all the time, but everyone I spoke to KNOWS this guy and his music and he is a national institution in France. One of those few performers like Susan Boyle and Andrea Bocelli who really FEEL the words he is singing, and it comes across as genuine. Naturally, there is a huge difference playing this CD in my car driving around the slums of Fort Lauderdale and it's equally tasteless suburban environs, than when I was rolling effortlessly through the golden wheatfields of Normandy this summer, with Julien romancing me at every kilometer. Get it to Escape. Better yet if you can listen to it while drinking in the Joie de Vivre in France around you.

EXCELLENT produit à un bon prix. Je vous recommande ce coffret CD qui contient 57 des plus grands succès de Julien Clerc. C’est vrai que je possédai déjà depuis plusieurs années l’album Platinum Collection de Julien Clerc sortie en 2004. Mais ce dernier était incomplet, car il manquait plusieurs succès tel que : La fille au bas nylon et quelques autres, alors ce coffret complet bien une partie des succès de Julien Clerc, même si plusieurs chansons reviennent sur les 2 coffrets. Mais de toute manière, c’est la façon de faire des maisons de productions, c’est de produire le plus d’albums incomplets possible et les lancés sur le marcher, de manière à faire le plus d’argent possibles sur le dos des consommateurs. Mais ils se plaignent qu’ils se vend moins d’albums aujourd’hui et que les consommateurs se tourne vers l’achat en téléchargement, parce qu’il paie pour les chansons qu’il veut ou qu’il lui manque, au déprimant de la qualité sonore. C’est très décevant.
